We invited Year 2 into a board meeting to design their dream Year 3 classroom. In hindsight, perhaps we should have been a little more specific. Playgrounds, disco floors, Nintendo Switches, a skate park, pillow forts, motorbikes, lickable chocolate wallpaper, goats, cheetahs, lions and tigers... and the list goes on!

Well, we have some notes. And by “some notes”, we mean a very large project ahead of us.

If you would like to find out more about our Year 3 classroom, come along to our Open Morning on Thursday 8 October. You will hear all about our exciting future, discover what Year 3 has in store, take a look around our school grounds, and meet our lovely team. (Goats not guaranteed.)

Friday was such a lovely first day back at Rydes Hill.

It was so nice to have the school feeling warm and full of energy again, with familiar faces and lots of new ones joining us too.

Pips and Seeds settled in so well, Nursery had a busy and fun day in their new classrooms, and Pre-Prep have been getting stuck into their new routines and enjoying seeing their friends again.

We are so happy to be back and are looking forward to a fantastic term ahead.

We hope you have all had a lovely summer. As we welcome everyone back, we are excited for the new academic year, a new c...
