When we're trying to get pregnant, we are always looking at other people who have what we want...

Happy families in the park, pregnant tummies at work, new born babies in prams....

But instead of feeling happy for them, we compare our journey to theirs, and that leads to feelings of jealousy and depression about our own situation.

But we are all on our own journey in life. You don't know what's happening in anyone else's life, and what they've been through to get to that point.

Comparing will only make you feel miserable. And it stops you appreciating everything you DO have in your life right now.

Have faith in your own journey, your baby is on its way. Focus on what you can control, and everything you are already blessed with.

In the end, everything happens just at the right time.

And this means the story is back in the news and I was reminded that all 3 of the McCann's children were born after IVF, as Kate talks about in this article.

So cruel for them to suffer such a tragic loss after an already tough journey. Goodness knows how they have coped over the last 12 years. 😰😰

Although I'm not sure about dramatising what happened for the sake of a documentary (the McCanns refused to take part), I only hope it might lead to some new evidence for the family....
