Join us at Tormead Tinies on Friday 2 October for a Bear Hunt (9.00am-10.00am)!

Children will follow an exciting sensory trail, exploring different textures and environments - just like the family in the much-loved classic story. We're looking forward to hosting our annual career networking evening on Thursday. The evening will consist of four breakout panel rooms: Finance, Law, Medicine and Engineering & Science. Each room will have a panel of three to six speakers who will share their career story and answer your questions.

Speakers this year include criminal, corporate and family barristers; employment, commercial, intellectual property, life sciences and in-house solicitors; aerodynamic, chemical, civil and mechanical engineers; engineering consultancy group leader; director of aviation; global clinical trial manager and consultant; chief risk and finance officers and partners; surgeons and GPs; and sustainability and environmental managers.

Forest School is always a busy place at Tormead.

Recently, our Prep pupils have been working together to create stick and leaf people using natural materials they find around our Forest School, while our Pre-Prep children have been learning about fresh herbs, exploring them through their senses, and making crowns with their favourite scents.

They have also enjoyed plenty of time outdoors with our school dog, Cody.

Forest School gives our children the freedom to explore, be creative and develop practical skills.
