Finding their people ✨

In the early years, friendships begin, conversations grow, and little people start to find their people.

Through play, chats, giggles and shared moments, children build confidence, communication and that all-important sense of belonging.

Small connections that can mean so much. 🌱

What a wonderful day celebrating our nursery leavers at our Pirate Party!

The children enjoyed building a giant pirate ship, setting sail on a treasure hunt, sharing treats and playing games together.

A huge thank you to all our families for the food donations, fantastic pirate costumes, and to two of our wonderful nursery mums for making the amazing treasure chest cake. Your kindness made the day so special.

We wish all our nursery leavers every happiness as they set sail on their next adventure!

It all started with one little boy's racing car creation! Later that day, he was quick to seek out his friends to share his ideas and together they played and created with the go-kart tyres, foam bricks and crates.

Fantastic creativity, teamwork, and sustained shared thinking were on display as they designed, built, and problem-solved together.

If you're looking for a nursery where your child's ideas are nurtured and learning through play is at the heart of it, we'd love to welcome you. Visit peaslakenursery.com or call 01306 730411 to find out more.

We are over the moon to have been awarded Gold for this year's Guildford in Bloom! 🏅🌻

Well done to our amazing little gardeners, who have worked so hard caring for our garden. We can't wait to enjoy and cook with the produce we're growing together and continue experiencing the many benefits of nature and outdoor learning.

We loved today's award ceremony, receiving our certificate, lovely books and a voucher to help us develop our garden even further. The children also enjoyed a planting activity and some very special cupcakes!

A huge thank you to all our nursery families for their donations, to the Small Community Grant for their support, and to the family who made our wonderful bug house. Thank you, Guildford in Bloom, for such a lovely morning! 💚

It’s often said that it takes all sorts, and nowhere is that more evident than in our nursery family. Every child who walks through our doors brings their own unique personality, strengths, interests, and way of seeing the world — and that is something we celebrate every single day.

To our wonderful nursery children: keep shining, keep exploring, and never stop being uniquely you. The world needs your magic. ✨

Today was such an exciting day as we released our butterflies on the big field behind nursery! The children watched quietly as the butterflies spread their wings and flew away. Some children were even lucky enough to gently hold a butterfly before it took flight.

There were lots of smiles and excitement as we said goodbye to our butterflies and celebrated the end of their amazing journey. What a lovely day to enjoy this special moment together! ☀️🦋

Thank you for providing a wonderful hands-on adventure for us this week!

The children loved meeting a variety of fascinating creatures, including giant millipedes, a Malayan jungle nymph, a tarantula, a scorpion and even a snake. Each child received a Certificate of Bravery to celebrate taking part in this special experience, which inspired a real sense of awe and wonder about the natural world.

With all the sunny weather over half term, we were excited to return and see how much our garden had grown. The children have loved helping to take care of the plants in our nursery outdoor spaces, watering them and watching them flourish.

🦕 There was great excitement when some giant dinosaurs were discovered hiding in our wooden den! After lots of imaginative adventures and exploring the sandpit, the children enjoyed giving them a bubbly bath in the tuff tray, carefully cleaning them with brushes and cloths while working together as a team.

🐞 We were also delighted to receive a beautiful handmade bug hotel from one of our nursery families. Thank you so much – we can't wait to see what creatures come to visit!
