Sink or float? We had a great time experimenting with rocks and apples to see what would float and what would sink in our mud-kitchen apple soup. 🍎

Sunnyside has an opening! I offer a lovely 3 hour play session so busy stay-at-home mums can get some much needed time off while knowing their child is in a safe and happy space. I have one space available on a wednesday from 9 to12. Please reach out to book a visit! :-)

This is our latest lucky find, an amazing second-hand arty aisle. We have been having an absolute ball with it, especially when the sun comes out! 🌞🌞🌞

A few snaps of our fine motor fun this morning. 👍👌🤏🫰Amazing what a bit of uncooked spagetti, colander and clay can do! 😄😄😄

This activity works on a number of skills. As children try to push the spagetti into the clay, they are working on their hand-eye co-ordination and getting the tiny muscles in their hands and fingers to move and strengthen... but they are ALSO learning about how much pressure to use without breaking the spagetti, a great problem solving challenge that can easily be practised through play!

Bringing abit of the garden indoors today.🥦😄

It was so cold outside that we decided to gather our leaves and herbs and move indoors for some chopping and cutting. We decorated all sorts of pretend cakes and chicken dishes with sprinkles of grass and enjoyed a cup of hot stick tea 😅

Nothing like the first squish of fresh playdough... am I right? 😄🥰
