MATTU (Minimal Access Therapy Training Unit) was founded in 1995.
It is located in the University of Surrey and run in close conjunction with Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

We had a highly successful day conducting the Right Hemicolectomy course for KSS General Surgical Trainees on January 30, 2025. The course featured engaging Live 3D laparoscopic and robotic theatre demonstrations, along with hands-on training in intra- and extracorporeal anastomosis.
