Our Year 10 Reward Trip was a roaring success with a visit to The Lion King in London's West End! 🦁👑

The astonishing performances, stunning costumes and catchy songs made for an amazing day out, matched only by the fantastic attitude and behaviour of our students!

We are so proud of everything you have achieved this year, and are happy we got this opportunity to create some lasting memories together!

The summer holidays are a great time to read and be creative! Share in the fun by entering one or more of our challenges! 📚📖🌞

- Draw the front cover of your “dream book” and write the opening paragraph of this.

- Create your own comic featuring original characters on an adventure that you have planned. Comics should be a minimum of one side of A4 long.

- Write your own exciting short story. Stories should be a minimum of one side of A4 long.

- Write a review of a book that you have recently read, considering its strengths and areas that could be improved- remember to give it a star rating! Reviews should be a minimum of one side of A4 long.

Model UN Competition 🌍

A huge well done to all of our students who took part in this year's Model United Nations Competition!

Representing Norway, Iceland, China, and Russia, our delegates demonstrated outstanding research, diplomacy and debating skills as they discussed global issues and worked together to propose solutions and find compromises.

The students spoke with confidence, listened respectfully to different viewpoints and represented their assigned countries with professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the event.

Junior Debating House Competition 🗣️

A huge well done to all of our students who took part in the Junior Debating Competition!

Our debaters tackled a range of challenging and thought-provoking topics, including:

- Should AI be used in schools?
- Should parents be punished for their child’s crime?
- Should schools monitor students’ social media?
- Should all zoo animals be released?
- Should the school day start later to accommodate teenage sleep cycles?

The students impressed us with their confidence, persuasive arguments, and critical thinking throughout the competition. We are incredibly proud of everyone who entered, and especially of our winners:
