✨Alumni Spotlight✨

Grace graduated Christ's College a few years ago, and has already achieved so much! At Woking College she studied Sport, Photography, and Geography, and is now at University of Brighton, training to be a PE Teacher! Grace was part of our girls football team while at Christ's, and we are so proud to hear she is using the amazing sportsmanship and teamwork she displayed here to achieve her goals!

📣Parents and carers of Christ's College 📣

We would like to invite you to an information evening on Wednesday 14th October 2026 from 6pm - 7pm regarding an exciting opportunity for your son or daughter to take part in a Football Tour to PSV Eindhoven, Holland, during the October half-term break in 2027! ⚽⚽⚽

The purpose of this evening is to gauge interest and obtain an indication of student numbers so that we can determine whether running the trip is feasible. At this stage, the tour has not yet been confirmed, and your attendance will help us assess the level of demand before moving forward.

This tour is aimed at students who are passionate about football, whether they currently play for a school team, a local club, or simply wish to further develop their skills and experience football in an exciting new environment.

Please note that the cost of the five-day trip has not yet been finalised. The overall price will depend on the number of students who choose to participate, with higher student numbers helping to reduce the cost per student. Further details regarding the itinerary, accommodation, and final costs will be shared once we have a clearer understanding of potential numbers.

We hope you will be able to attend and learn more about what promises to be a fantastic opportunity for our students, both on and off the pitch. If you have any questions prior to the evening, or if you are unable to attend but your son or
daughter is interested in the tour, please contact Mr Cotton via email!

Yesterday, our Y11s went on a peaceful and invigorating retreat to Wintershall!

Together, they journeyed through the beautiful grounds, following an itinery designed to help them reflect and build bonds with their peers.

1. Meeting the Animals - They met donkeys and sheep, discussing the various bible stories they star in, and even got a chance to pet them! The question "who do we follow" was in the forefront of their minds.

2. Called by Name - Next, they researched the meanings behind their names, thinking about how names help to shape each person's unique identity. Each student wrote their name and its meaning on a stick as part of a collective art project!

3. Encounters with Jesus - They were treated to the amazing acting skills of Wintershall's performance team, immersing themselves in the stories of characters whose lives have been touched by Jesus.

4. Mindful Walking - A silent walk through stunning natural beauty helped Y11 to tune into their own thoughts and connect with the space.

5. Positive Postcards - They wrote their future selves postcards to motivate and encourage them. It was wonderful to see so many students were inspired by their close friendships and wrote about them in their postcards.

6. Final Reflections- Before saying goodbye to Wintershall, we all gathered together to think about our day and reflect on the journey ahead of us!

Thank you so much to the Wintershall team for welcoming us and making it an unforgettable day!
