🏆⚽ ENGLISH SCHOOLS CUP WIN! ⚽🏆

Have we been here before?! 😂 Just like our 2025 leavers, who reached the National Final as Y8s in 2022, the current Y8 lads proved Bowland know a thing or two about winning on penalties!

After a thrilling 3-3 draw with Blessed Trinity, goals from Wilf, Alfie, Zach, Teddy and Captain Maxwell plus a fantastic save from George, secured a 5-3 penalty shootout victory! 🧤👏

Proud of you all, your grit and determination ⚽️

UP THE BOWLAND! Here’s a clip of the winning penalty 💚💙⚽

What a start to the district x-country event. A HUGE congratulations to our Year 7 pupil, Pearl, who finished 1st, racing against almost 100 students from across the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Schools! 🥇

This is a first for our school in recent time! What an incredible achievement and a moment to be incredibly proud of.

Congratulations, Pearl — you are a champion! 🏆👏

Pupils from schools across East Lancashire gathered in Clitheroe to discuss issues around climate change and how it will effect them and future generations.

Students from Ribblesdale, Bowland, St Christopher's and Pleckgate high schools met in the council chamber at Ribble Valley Borough Council's offices to grill members of the council's climate emergency working group on a range of environmental issues. The session was facilitated by Ribble Valley Climate Action Network (RVCAN).

The students asked questions on a wide variety of topics, including what the council is doing to reduce its carbon footprint, how it can support local communities, and what pupils and schools can do to help tackle climate change.

The Q&A session followed the CORVS4 (Conference of Ribble Valley Schools) event hosted earlier this year by Bowland High on the theme "How can technology support proactive change in response to climate and natural emergencies?"

Plans are already in place for the CORVS5 conference which will be held in spring 2027.
