Our Year 5 Gardening Club have been working hard and are doing a wonderful job transforming the quad into a beautiful outdoor space for everyone to enjoy this summer! 🌞

🌟 EYFS Sports Day Fun! 🌟
This morning, our Nursery and Reception children had a fantastic time at Sports Day! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
There were lots of smiles, laughter and brilliant effort from all of the children – we are so proud of them all! 💛
A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to cheer the children on – your support made the morning even more special. 🙌
It really was a fun morning had by all! 🎉

🚨 Thank you to Humberside Police for visiting our Reception children yesterday! We are learning about People Who Help Us. The police spoke to us about their job role, how they keep people safe and they let us explore the van! 🚔 The children were so excited! 🌟

🌞 Join us for our Family Picnic! 🌞

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you for a fun-filled afternoon together!

🥪 Picnic arrangements:
All children will be provided with a picnic lunch. We’d love for families to bring their own lunch along to enjoy together. Please remember, we are a nut-free school.

No dogs
No smoking or va**ng
No alcohol
No glass bottles
No water guns

We can’t wait to see you there and enjoy a fantastic afternoon! 😊

We are keeping a close eye on the weather and are hoping we’ll be able to go ahead with the remaining Sports Day events this week ☀️ However, please be aware that we will carry out a risk assessment each morning, and if it is too hot for the children and staff to safely take part, we may need to postpone. If this happens, we will send a text message out as early as possible to keep you informed. Hopefully, this won't happen! 🤞

Thank you to all our families who joined us for today’s Year 1, 2 and 3 Sports Day – it was lovely to see so many of you cheering the children on!

A huge congratulations to our winning team, Nightingales, and a big well done to every single child for taking part and showing fantastic effort and teamwork throughout the morning. We are so proud of you all! 👏

We’re now looking forward to seeing our Nursery and Reception children take their turn tomorrow morning – we can’t wait! 🏃‍♀️✨

🌞 Hot Weather Reminder 🌞

With the warmer weather continuing this week, we want to make sure all children stay as cool and comfortable as possible in school.
Children are welcome to come to school in loose, lightweight clothing or their PE kit for the next few days.

Please also remember:
💧 Send your child in with a water bottle
🧢 A sun hat is recommended
🧴 Apply sun cream before school

A LITTLE REMINDER .... School is closed for children on Friday 26th June due to a training day for staff. We will see you bright and early on Monday 29th June.
