Just a few pictures from our traditional 'Guard of Honour' for the incredible 'Class of 2026'. Staff and students gathered following a brilliant Leavers' Assembly to celebrate our Year 11's final day at Humberston Academy.

So many friendships forged over an amazing 5 year journey. It has been an absolute pleasure and we cannot wait for Prom with this cracking group of students.

This evening, Humberston Academy took part in the DRET Inspiration Awards, whilst we know how incredible our staff body is, it was great to celebrate the staff who were recognise for the passion and efforts they demonstrate on a daily basis. Today is 'National Thank a Teacher Day', an opportunity for us to show appreciate to those key adults who have supported the learning of others.

Over the last few weeks, students have been writing thank you messages to our staff which have been delivered throughout the school day.

Thank you to all educators, for going the extra mile and doing everything you can to make a difference to young people's futures.

As we continue to support our Year 10 students with the options and pathways available for life beyond Humberston, we visited Grimsby Institute Further and Higher Education today to explore a variety of course and the facilities they have on offer.

Today marks our final exam with our 'Class of 2026'. What a journey! We are so proud of every single one of you. You have worked hard, demonstrated resilience and left no-one behind. Be proud. We cannot wait for the celebrations which will take place throughout the week.
