This is a reminder that we will be holding a book sale this week to raise money for our Friends of School 📖

✨ If you have any unwanted books, they would be greatly received and children can bring money into school to purchase some books.

We are excited to invite our school community to come together for our East Ravendale C of E Primary School Sponsored Walk on Monday 15th June at 2.00pm 🌿🌳

This special Hub Walk is in aid of our Love As Action Fund, supporting children by helping to remove barriers to education. It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to walk together in fellowship, showing kindness, compassion and generosity – living out our values of Wonder, Belief and Joy 💙💛

Here’s some of our fantastic Media Club in action, knocking on Mrs Farr’s door to interview her as they prepare for their end-of-year project! 📹🎬

Their last project was truly incredible, showcasing creativity, teamwork and perseverance — and we can’t wait to see what they produce this time. It’s wonderful to see our pupils growing in confidence and curiosity, asking thoughtful questions and developing their skills with such joy. 🌟

Moments like this reflect our vision of learning through wonder, belief and joy — encouraging every child to flourish and use their voice. 🙌

Sharing Joy Through Reflection🙏🏼✨

Some of our KS2 children spent time in our Bee Reflection and Prayer Space, responding to this week’s collective worship on The Feeding of the 5000.

They created beautiful mosaics and wrote thoughtful prayers about how we can share joy, kindness and what we have with others—bringing our values of Wonder, Belief and Joy to life each day 💛

It was wonderful to see Brigsley’s Little Readers come together at East Ravendale during half term on Friday 🌿📚

We enjoyed sharing ‘The Oak Tree’ by Julia Donaldson, exploring the theme of creation through a range of hands-on outdoor activities. The children showed such curiosity and joy as they planted seeds, went on a scavenger hunt with magnifying glasses, created and sailed their own boats, printed with leaves and even made leaf hedgehogs. 🦔🌱🔍🍃

After listening to and retelling the story together, we shared a lovely time enjoying lunch boxes and delicious cakes, kindly prepared by Mrs Green – thank you. 🧺🍰

We are always proud to support our wider community through events like this and are so pleased to be part of Brigsley’s Little Readers. Experiences like these help bring families together and create lasting memories beyond the classroom. 😊

A huge thank you to everyone involved for your organisation and commitment – we hope to be part of it again soon!
