π±π₯ Harvest Time for Hedgehogs! π₯π±
Back in February, Hedgehogs began an exciting learning journey exploring the life cycle of a potato. After patiently observing the chitting process, they carefully planted their potatoes and took great care in nurturing them over the weeks.
Today brought great excitement as it was finally harvest day! π The children worked brilliantly as a team, gently digging up their potatoes and discovering lots of fascinating minibeasts along the way. It was wonderful to see such curiosity, teamwork and perseverance in action - truly showing our values of wonder, belief and joy.
We canβt wait to share what happens next as they prepare to cook their harvestβ¦ watch this space! ππ

πββοΈπ Primary Swim Gala ππββοΈ
What a fantastic day at our Primary Swim Gala! We are incredibly proud of every swimmer who took part, representing their schools with determination, courage, teamwork, and outstanding sportsmanship.
Whether competing in individual races or relay events, each swimmer gave their very best and should be proud of their achievements. Taking part in a gala requires commitment, confidence, and resilience, and every one of our swimmers rose to the challenge brilliantly.
A special thank you goes to all those from CADS Swim School and Lily and Bev from Coached By Lily for their continued support, knowledge, and expertise. Your encouragement, guidance, and dedication to schools swimming is fantastic . We are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

β¨ What a surprise for Year 2! β¨
Yesterday, during shared reading, our Y2 Rabbits had a very exciting momentβ¦ a letter fell right out of their book! ππ (Y2 Rabbitsβ eyes onlyβ¦ what could it be?)
The children soon discovered it was their official invitation to take part in their Y2 SATs β or as they now know itβ¦ their βSecret Agent Training!β π΅οΈββοΈπ
We are already well underway, and the children are showing fantastic enthusiasm as they demonstrate their reading, maths, grammar, punctuation and spelling skills. Another cohort of secret agents is in the making and Mrs Jackson is incredibly impressed with all their efforts so far.
Keep up the amazing work, Year 2! π«
