Welholme Secondary Modern

Photo very kindly given to us by a lady called Susan who is sat in the front row. The back of the picture has 1972 written on it, however Susan believes that it's earlier than that given the year she left school. She suspects it to be 1970 or 71 and that it's a presentation ceremony given the little trophies on the laps of the pupils.

Does it happen to ring any jingle bells of our other alumni? :)

What a year! We said it before, we say it again - fingers crossed 2022 can only be better...(!!!)

I’m sorry that there hasn’t been any post from me in the last year or so.
Due to looking after and then a bereavement of a family member there hasn’t left much time for Facebook.

The photographs of a party from the late 60's have been removed.

No offence was intended in publishing them, they were included, like every other picture, to allow people to share old school memories and to hopefully allow others to reconnect with people they may not have seen for many decades.
