🌴🎨 **Totally Tropical in Year 9!** 🎨🌺

Our Year 9 pupils have started investigating the vibrant and colourful work of artist Marcia Baldwin.

They are exploring her use of bold colours, tropical themes and expressive style, gathering inspiration before creating their own. Just look at the amazing tropical parrots they have created! Well done Year 9!

A huge congratulations to our amazing pupil Harley, who has achieved his 100 metres swimming badge! To achieve this he completed an incredible 18 lengths of the pool doing front crawl. We are so proud of his determination, perseverance and fantastic achievement! 💙

🌟 What a fantastic Moving Up Day! 🌟

Our Year 6 MUD pupils had a brilliant day of fun activities, making new friends and getting a taste of life at senior school.

We also loved welcoming our Year 5 & Year 6 pupils from St Martins for the afternoon — it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved!

What a fantastic first week back! 🌟

Our pupils have worked incredibly hard and it has been wonderful to see everyone settling back into school so positively. We’ve also started our Reading for Pleasure and Life Skills programmes, which we’re really looking forward to developing throughout the year. 📚

And we even managed to squeeze in a staff vs pupils Dodgeball event this afternoon! 😊

🌟 We are looking forward to welcoming all our families back on Monday! 🌟

Our staff have had two intense days of training in Safeguarding, SEND and First Aid and we are feeling prepared, refreshed and ready for an exciting year ahead! 📚

A huge thank you to our external partners at ERT and Humberston Park for sharing their wonderful training, expertise and knowledge with us. We really appreciate your support and the valuable learning you have provided for our team.

We can’t wait to see everyone back on Monday and get the new school year started! 💙

🎉 GCSE Results Day 2026 🎉

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the fantastic GCSE results achieved by our Class of 2026!

🏆 100% Pass Rate
📚 82% achieved grades 9-5 in English & Maths
⭐ 92% achieved grades 9-4
🏅 31% achieved grades 9-7

These results reflect not only our pupils' individual strengths, talents and aspirations, but also the hard work, resilience and determination they have shown throughout their studies. Their success is a testament to their commitment, alongside the dedication of our staff and the unwavering support of families and friends.

Today is a celebration of each and every pupil and all they have achieved. We are incredibly proud of the way they have embraced challenges, worked towards their goals and supported one another throughout their journey.

🌟 Pupil Highlights 🌟

👏 Mary Mossemenear achieved an exceptional set of results, including four Grade 9s in English Language, Geography, History and Business. She also achieved a Grade 8 in English Literature, Grade 7s in Biology and Mathematics, and Grade 6s in Chemistry, Physics and PE.

👏 Kafui Segbedji achieved an excellent set of results, including Grade 7s in English Language, Mathematics and Business, alongside strong outcomes across Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Literature, Geography and RE.

👏 Grayson Jones Brown achieved a Distinction in PE and a Grade 7 in Spanish, alongside strong passes across English, Mathematics, the Sciences and Business.

👏 Sam Ross achieved a broad range of passes, including Grade 6s in English Language and Mathematics, Grade 5s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and Business, together with a Merit in PE.

👏 Congratulations also to Lewis Hannath and Rafe Valentine on their achievements in Functional Skills English and Mathematics. Their success reflects their perseverance, dedication and commitment and we are delighted to celebrate this important milestone with them.
