Nicky's Childminding

We love this wonderful bridge our children made for the animals.

Building blocks encourage early development by boosting hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness and problem solving skills. Not to mention turn taking, speech and language and social skills.

We have had lots of wonderful conversations about the King today. We watched videos of his visit and enjoyed designing him a collection of new crowns. When I showed the children a photo of him at the town ground one of their questions was.... which one is he??

Today is world ocean day. The children have been learning all about sea creatures and how to keep them safe. They were very good at collecting all of the rubbish from our ocean tray.

Our topic for the next two weeks will be the ocean.

Why did I think 10pm was a good time to sort through our play food!?!

I absolutely love reading, learning and gaining new qualifications. I have signed up to do a level 3 SENCO course (Early years special educational needs coordinator) I can't wait to get started.

Today we said goodbye to our five butterflies! The children have really enjoyed watching them grow and learning all about their life cycle.

Due to a child moving up to nursery, we will have a full time space available from. September 2026.

We are very excited to announce we have five beautiful cocoons. We can't wait for them to hatch.
