Little Learner's are all set up for a fun water 💦 day . What better way to stay cool and learn.

Water play isn't just play it supports a child’s development by enhancing their physical coordination, cognitive understanding, and emotional regulation.

Tomorrow is looking very warm. Please can you ensure children come in lose fitting clothes , hat and suncream if they don't normally use ours 🌞🕶️☀️

We understand that starting school can be daunting for both children and parent/carers .

So we have put some play session on throughout the holidays for the children who are going to Healing Primary School in September. So they can meet their peers and make new friends before starting school 🏫

SPORTS DAY CANCELLED
We're sorry to let you know that, due to the wet weather, we need to cancel sports day as the field isn't safe for activities.
We completely understand that this may be disappointing, especially for those who took time off work.

Update on Graduation photographs

The Graduation photographs will be available soon . Mark kindly agreed to take photographs of the children who couldn't attend the main session due to family holidays. We will keep you updated on the situation.

We’ve had so much fun getting messy in Little Learners today! 💛

The children explored a variety of sensory materials including shaving foam, hair gel, conditioner and flour. We talked about how the different textures felt on our hands, describing them as “slimy” and “squishy”, and enjoyed exploring the different scents of the foam and conditioner. 🫟🧴👃🏽

Using both our hands and a range of mark-making tools, we experimented with making different patterns and marks. 🤚🏼

We also had lots of fun making our own play dough with support from the practitioners before independently taking part in our Dough Disco routine. We found all of our fingers as we poked, rolled, pinched and splatted the play dough, helping to strengthen the small muscles in our hands ready for future writing. 🥣👆🏽☝🏼💛

We offer a cooked tea each night at oosc .

Tonight the children had meatballs and pasta 🍝
