Hawk Class helped farmer Jamie prepare some of the Lincolnshire Red Cows for the Lincolnshire Show.
Who knew cows enjoyed to be bathed, brush and even have a blow dry!
Then the pupils tried to walk the bulls like they were in the parade ring at the show. Now that was a challenge persuading a 500kg bull to walk at the right speed and in the correct direction!

Our Post-16 Eco-Horticulture students have been exploring harvesting as part of their learning this term. 🌱🥔
After successfully growing and harvesting their own potatoes, students enjoyed turning their crop into homemade crisps and potato salad. 🥗
A fantastic achievement by all involved, and some delicious results too! 👏

The Year 10s from Hawk, Kestrel and Kite went to a careers fair all about the jobs in the building industry.
They learnt about brick laying, scaffold construction, plastering and roof laying.
They also looked at some heritage buildings and learnt about how these are maintained including building wooden windows and how to use putty to hold the glass in.
Lots of new skills were learnt and future career ideas thought about.
