Acrodance is the fusion of classical dance and acrobatics. It incorporates gymnastic style floor movements adapted to smoothly fit into and enhance dance sequences. Great for building strength, stamina and flexibility. A perfect class to combine along with our Theatre dance sessions.

We follow the worldwide recognised syllabus from to ensure our students progress from one level to the next safely and quickly.

Our Acrodance classes run as follows:

- Thursday 3:30-4:30pm at Healing Village Hall

- Saturday 11am-12pm at Great Coates Village Hall

What is theatre dance? 🤔

Our theatre dance classes cover ballet, tap, and contemporary modern jazz based on the syllabus.

The technique these dance styles provide helps with performance across all other dance styles and creates well-rounded dancers.

We often find our dancers love trying out the different styles within theatre dance to find which is their favourite, with the newest updated syllabus contemporary modern jazz taking the lead at the moment!

We provide the opportunity for our dancers to take IDTA performers exams in these subjects, which are a fantastic way to celebrate their achievements and build confidence.

We start teaching an understanding of dance from as young as 2 years old or from when your little one begins to walk and move well.

We are always looking for ways to introduce rhythm and movement in a fun and new way either by using wands, shakers, scarves or using our games to spark their imaginations! ✨️

We pride ourselves on being a friendly group and are always happy to welcome new dancers and parents into our community.

Our toddler dance classes runs follows:

- Thursday 11am-11:30am at Healing Village Hall

- Saturday 9am-9:30am at Great Coates Village Hall

It’s September and that means the start of a new dance term! 🎉 I can’t wait to see all of my wonderful students and hear all about your exciting summer experiences and see what this new dance year has to bring us 😁

This term we are starting out on a bit more of a personal note - some of you may already know, some may not but I got married! 🤩 I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life and I cannot wait to tell you all about it. But what does this mean for the start of term??

Well I will be on honeymoon for the first couple of weeks, but don’t worry! Classes will be running as we have some brilliant cover teachers lined up to kick off the new year. The only sessions that won’t be restarting until I return are Thursday toddler class 11am-11:30am at Healing Village Hall & our Adult tap and ballet on a Wednesday evening. Other than these all classes will be running.

I hope you are all ready to dust of your dancing shoes and I will see you all very soon! ❤️

A massive well done to all our performers who took part in Freedom Dance Showcase last night! You all performed amazingly and were brilliant throughout the whole day! We are so proud of you all. Cleethorpes Carnival!! 🪩🕺💃🏻

What a day we’ve had!! Our first ever carnival and we absolutely loved it! All our dancers from tiny tots to our fabulous adults gave it their all and most importantly had a blast!! A big well done to everyone involved and thank you to the armed forces team for involving us, we can’t wait for next year! 💜
