Level 3 Football Pathway (The Academy)

Full-time U19 education and football elite package at Grimsby Institute.

Football:
• UEFA ‘A’ standard training & game management
• 8 hours per week football training
• 2 hours per week football specific strength & conditioning
• Performance Analysis feedback (GPS & Video)
• Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
• Competitive English Colleges Fixtures
• Pro & Semi-pro Academy Fixtures

Academics:
• Sport Level 3 Qualification (Equivalent to A-Levels)
• Experienced tutors (who have and still work in the industry)
• Football specific theory lessons
• Bespoke timetable to support Football Development
• Guest Speakers from the Football Industry
• 1st Class facilities (OFSTED OUTSTANDING)

With COVID putting a PAUSE on the FD programme for this year, lets take a walk down memory lane and look back at some the things our students have done over the last two years:

Memory #5: Another field trip to Cheapside (GTFC 1st team training ground) to watch the GTFC Youth Team & 1st year pros put through their paces. This was a fantastic opportunity in an elite environment, to watch elite coaches in action.👍👍 Grimsby Town Football Club

A very enlightening talk about his coaching journey and 1st class practical session. Where he shared drill straight from Leicester City's training ground.
