Today, some of our learners visited Miller & Carter Grimsby to learn about careers in the hospitality sector.

They enjoyed gaining hands-on experience in setting and serving tables and using a tablet to take food orders.

Class 1 Sargon had the opportunity to go to the town hall today to assist hosting at the NELPCF annual conference. Our learners had the job of serving tea and coffee to attendees. They all did a fantastic job and had nothing but good reviews! North East Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum CIC

We all had a little tear in our eyes seeing Caleb start his first shift at Miller & Carter Grimsby😢❤️

Caleb only left us in the summer, and we couldn’t be prouder to see him loving life and doing so well. 🥰

A huge thank you to all of our families for your support during these first three weeks. ❤️

Some learners have hit the ground running, while a few are taking a little more time to settle into new routines, relationships and the new environment — and that’s absolutely okay. Every learner is different, and there is no “right” pace for starting the year. 👌

We hope that by now, everyone has had the opportunity to speak with a member of the class team about how their child’s start to the year has been. If you haven’t had the chance to do this yet, please let us know and we’ll be happy to arrange a time to chat.

Progress doesn’t always happen in a straight line. Sometimes it’s a big step forward, and sometimes it’s a small change that becomes noticeable over time. By working closely together and sharing what we’re seeing, we give our learners the best possible chance to thrive. 💪

What a lovely day at Laceby! The learners loved spending time with Dottie today. It was wonderful to see how kind and caring they all were with her. We think they've all fallen in love!
Dottie is already excited to come back and see everyone again next week
