We are delighted to announce that we will be holding a Sports Week Challenge during the week commencing 29th June.
Throughout the week, the children will take part in a range of exciting sporting activities, including egg and spoon races, sack races, football, relay races, and many other fun challenges. The event is designed to promote teamwork, physical activity, resilience, and enjoyment while bringing our school community together.
As part of Sports Week, we are raising funds to purchase new outdoor learning equipment. Outdoor learning plays a vital role in children's development, supporting physical skills, creativity, problem-solving, communication, and overall wellbeing. The new equipment will help us create even more engaging opportunities for children to learn and explore outdoors.

This week we have absolutely loved having Amelia with us at Wendover for her work experience placement ⚽️✨

Amelia has been such a fantastic addition to our preschool team. Kind, caring, patient, thoughtful, and always eager to get involved. The children have completely adored her and have loved spending time with her throughout the week.

One of the highlights has definitely been watching Amelia share her passion for football with the children! As a grassroots football player and qualified grassroots referee, she has been teaching the children football skills, encouraging teamwork, building confidence, and most importantly making it so much fun for everyone involved. ⚽️👏

Thank you, Amelia, for all your hard work, enthusiasm, and positivity this week. You should be incredibly proud of yourself. We know you’ll do amazingly well in the future! 💛

Today we are welcoming our new work experience student to pre-school for the week! 🌟

We are so pleased to be able to offer young people the opportunity to gain hands on experience within an early years setting. Work experience placements are a fantastic way for students to build confidence, learn new skills, and gain a real insight into working with children.

There are lots of positives for the children too, they enjoy meeting new people, building relationships, and taking part in fresh activities and interactions throughout the week 😊

Our team love supporting and encouraging the next generation, and we’re looking forward to having a fun and rewarding week together! 💛
