Simon Fenwick and Simon Bryson were on BBC Humberside radio today at 7:43am talking about their charity cycle.

They both set a goal to cycle 950 miles this month using the cycle machines, which is the distance from Grimsby to Budapest. Since then, they have beaten their target of 950 miles and have cycled a total of 1049 miles! 🎉

So far, they have raised an outstanding total of £1,405!

They have been raising money for a dog’s rescue shelter called Wags and Wet Noses, to support the rehoming effort over the Christmas period. 🐶

🏥 Exciting Induction for Health T Level Students! 🏥

Yesterday, our Health T Level Students attended their nursing and midwifery placement induction at the hospital with Laura Horn and Suzanne Brompton. We're excited for them to embark on this valuable experience! 👩‍⚕️

🎁 Spreading Kindness at Grimsby Women’s Refuge 🎁
Our Level 3 Business Year 1 and Year 2 students delivered boxes and hampers of gifts that they bought and decorated for women and children at Grimsby Women’s Refuge, as part of their enrichment.

They managed to fill two shopping trolleys with gifts and donations from the students and Karan Grant; the staff at the refuge were overwhelmed by the kindness of these young people and were so grateful. Julia Croft feels honoured to be their Programme Leader. They are exceptional young people and amazing ambassadors for Grimsby Institute. 🫶
