A dream come true!

Hollie & Darcie are heading off to Florida today to begin Hospitality American Internships at Delray Beach Country Club for 12 months on paid internships. Hollie & Darcie were part of our Class of 2023. It was a dream of theirs from the start of their GIFHE journey to become a BSG Intern. They excelled in the classroom along with gaining premium hospitality experience with local employers such as Healing Manor and Winteringham Fields. This internship will provide our former learners with cultural, hospitality, travel and life experiences which will add tremendous value to their CV's & kick-start their careers.

A huge thank you to Rasheeda and Kerry at BSG Interns for helping to make all this happen!

We're looking forward to welcoming Kerry back into our Tourism and Hospitality classrooms next month to make some more dreams come true!

"I chose to study at UCG because of the strong practical opportunities on offer, I loved the fact that students were encouraged to get involved with short films and client productions, an experience rarely available elsewhere. I also liked the fact that the class sizes were smaller, and you got a lot more focussed tutoring from experienced professionals.

My time at UCG helped me in my career in giving me a strong base of experience working on professional productions and learning how to be a part of a production team, which then helped me to get further experience and ultimately the contacts that led me to the career I have today.

I'm now the producer at a successful corporate video agency planning and coordinating video projects for big brands both in the UK and overseas."

Last week some of our Level 3 Professional Chef students were given an exclusive invitation to Young's Seafood at on to participate in a ideation station.

They were treated to a delicious breakfast cooked by the talented Simon Boyle. Along with a beautiful lunch prepared by Product Development Chef Joel Carr. The event was a thought provoking & inspiring day. Influenced by Masterchef star Eddie Scott and award-winning Chef entrepreneur Simon Boyle.

All the students thoroughly enjoyed the experience, huge thank you to everyone involved!
