🐠 Trip to The Deep 🐠
Our Kindergarten 1 children had such a fantastic time on their trip to visit The Deep. They were so excited and their enthusiasm throughout the day was fantastic! We were able to see some of our favourite sea creatures such as sharks, sawfish and jellyfish. We learnt lots about river turtles, hearing an amazing story and even having a go at creating our own. All the children were so engaged throughout the whole visit and asked The Deep’s team such inquisitive questions like ‘how does the sawfish eat?’ And ‘how does a shark breathe?’.
We are immensely proud of all of our children. Their confidence, behaviour, curiosity and engagement were incredible and we are thrilled they had such a wholesome, fulfilling day! ✨

📚World Book Day 📚
We have had the best time celebrating World Book Day across the nursery today! Our children and staff looked absolutely fabulous dressed as their favourite characters. We spent time sharing and creating stories, baking, getting messy, being imaginative and using our big muscles in forest school. Stories and literature are so important to us and it was lovely to see how excited our children were to celebrate all things books! ✨

✨ Thank You ✨
I’m still completely overwhelmed and deeply touched by all the love, kindness and generosity shown over the past few days.
To our wonderful parents, thank you for your lovely messages, hugs and encouragement – and a very special thank you to our KG1 parents and children for the huge and absolutely stunning bouquet of flowers. It took my breath away.
To my incredible staff team, thank you for the beautiful bracelet. I will treasure it forever and I proudly wore it on the day. Your thoughtfulness means more than you know.
And to our amazing children your handmade cards are so precious. Every little drawing, scribble and sparkle reminded me exactly why I love what I do. You made me smile (and cry!) happy tears.
Receiving the MBE is an honour, and belongs to our whole team, but sharing it with all of you makes it truly special. Explorosity exists because of the hearts within it – children, families and staff who believe in wonder, kindness and the magic of early years.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

✨Staff Training✨
Over 3 seperate sessions, our staff have been spending their evenings expanding their knowledge of trauma informed practice, under the incredible guidance of Dr Kate Margarson. We have learnt lots more about brain development, attachments, childhood trauma and how to better support children who have adverse childhood experiences.
We can’t thank Kate enough for sharing her knowledge and passion with us! 💕

💛 Children In Need 💛
All the rooms have been having the best time celebrating children in need today. We have been doing all things Pudsey and incorporating this into our learning. We’ve promoted our fine and gross motor skills, manipulation, hand-eye coordination, dance moves, team work abilities, baked, crafted and got messy! But most importantly we have talked about people who are less fortunate than ourselves and things we are grateful for. Our children have been super mindful and considerate of others, we are so proud of their caring natures! ✨

🕊️Remembrance Day 🕊️
We are so incredibly proud of all our children who attended the cenotaph on Remembrance Day. Their behaviour was truly exemplary, which was even noted by several members of the public. The children from all four rooms visited to pay their respects and lay their poppy crafts/wreaths. We were also able to speak with the local community whilst we were there and learn a little more about Remembrance. We can’t thank the community enough for taking the time to tell their stories and welcoming us so kindly.
Lest we forget ❤️
