Recently, two of our JMS Consultants trainers, Charlie Anderson and Stewart Robertson, had the opportunity to support an Operational Readiness Event at EDF Hartlepool Power Station.
Following a site outage, the event was organised to help teams refresh key safety knowledge before returning the plant to service.
We were pleased to contribute by delivering a hands-on demonstration of gas detection equipment, giving staff the chance to explore how atmospheric testing works in practice and ask questions about confined space safety.
At JMS, we believe strong partnerships with our clients go beyond simply delivering training courses. Whenever we can, we aim to support sites with practical guidance, demonstrations, and knowledge sharing that helps reinforce safe working practices.
It was great to meet personnel from across the site and see the level of engagement during the demonstrations.
After the event we received this feedback from EDF Hartlepool:
“My experience working with JMS Consultants has been consistently excellent. Their team is professional, approachable, and genuinely committed to supporting our needs across training, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and technical enquiries…”
We’re proud to support organisations like EDF in maintaining high standards of safety and competence in hazardous environments.
