🌟 NURSERY SPACES AGED 2-4 YEARS🌟

I’ve edited this post as the initial space advertised has now been filled.
We do still have a couple of spaces left for our toddler room in the new nursery from April 28th down Edward Street. These have been filling up very quickly and we are unsure when we will have future vacancies ☺️

As of just now (13/1/2025) there is 4 Monday spaces, 2 Tuesday spaces, 6 Wednesday spaces, 4 Thursday spaces and 4 Friday spaces 💘

A frosty trip to the field today to get some fresh air and shake the cobwebs away ❄️

We have explored our mini beast sensory rice tray, matching the creatures to their pictures, mark making with the sticks and listening to the rice bouncing around in the tray 🐜 🪳

We have been mark making with our paint pens too! Some children don’t like sitting at the table for activities and that’s okay, we love to ensure all the children are able to access art and crafts in a way that suits them 😍

BRAND NEW 🌟 We are very excited to launch our new activity club in February half term! If Football isn't your kid's thing, this new club will offer everything from arts and crafts, to gymnastics, parachute games and loads more!

This morning we have really enjoyed a mixture of activities that encourage turn taking, communication and language, and cognitive skills 😍
Our original plan to go out and explore the snow and ice at the woods is on hold because we are very pleased to see that many of our explorers have been potty training over Christmas! Well done Explorers! 💘

Due to the large increase in interest in our toddler room, we are now advertising for Early Years Practitioners to work in our 2-4year room from September 2025 💝

This is ideal for those anticipating to be finishing at college or university this year!

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back tomorrow after our lovely Christmas break!

This is an exciting term for the team with lots of new faces joining us. This month we will also be celebrating our 5 year anniversary of Mini Explorers! Crazy how fast time flies when you’re having fun 💘

This year has been so full of love, laughter and joy, and we are so grateful to have spent it with you all! With exciting changes coming in 2025, I think it’s important to say that none of this could have been made a reality without you all.

We want to thank all our lovely parents for the kind words, cards and gifts we’ve received this Christmas, it is so appreciated 🥰

🍁 TODDLER ROOM SPACES 🍁

After reviewing our current waiting list for our new nursery opening in April 2025, we have only 5 full time spaces available left in our toddler room (ages 2-4 years)! These are on a first come first serve basis and can be reserved via messenger until our parent visits in February 🥰

Our specially designed toddler room compromises of a large scale home world area to encourage imagination, role play and understanding of the world; sensory spaces to encourage exploration and emotional regulation; small world and construction areas for fine and gross motor skills; large craft spaces for painting, drawing, junk modelling, and messy play; and many other “zones” all aimed to enhance your child’s learning and development in a homely and comforting environment that’s based of their interests. Our toddler room also will be participating in weekly sports sessions with CTO Football and going on numerous fun and adventurous outings!

We are working alongside other specialists to ensure our staff and space fully support children with SEND to thrive and get the support they are entitled to 🥰

Our baby room is now full until April 2026🫶🏻

We had a lovely time this morning at the park with our friends at Little Robynne's Childminding and Christianna's Childminding 🥰🥰🥰

🌟 UNIFORM ORDER 🌟

I will be putting in a uniform order today if anyone is requiring uniform. We have T-shirts in navy, grey, black, or light blue, as well as cardigans and fleeces. All uniform will have the slightly new logo as seen below ⬇️

We are super excited to be welcoming back Ashleigh to our team in January 2025 🥰

For those who don’t know Ashleigh was our long term student who has been away working in a nursery this past year completing her level 3 apprenticeship. We have been counting down until we could welcome her back to the team 💖

Some of our explorers stayed behind this morning and enjoyed some peace and quiet with Santa 😂🧑‍🎄
We have been using our colour sorting dinosaurs too and making new friends 🥰

We had such a fantastic experience meeting Jody and her ambulance today! We love meeting hardworking, ambitious women in our community and we are very grateful to her for allowing the children to explore the ambulance and learn a bit about her job! 🥰

The children have also enjoyed using some Christmas stampers and paint to create festive pictures 🎄 🎨

The children just love dinosaurs at the moment, we have been reading Dinosaurs love Underpants this morning and then did this colour matching dino activity 🦖 🦕
