🧡Dusk Room🧡

This week, we have loved exploring everything autumn! 🍂🪵🪾

We enjoyed a lovely trip to the park, where we made our very own nature bracelets, collecting natural resources such as leaves, sticks and other treasures to decorate them. We also got creative with our painting activities, using broccoli to print and create beautiful tree pictures, and had lots of fun with conker rolling, watching the different patterns they made. We have also been busy making our own ‘pine cone cakes’, learning about how chocolate melts while developing our mixing, scooping and pouring skills🪵🍁🥦

Alongside all of our autumn activities, we enjoyed our weekly football and dance sessions, as well as getting creative during forest school by using natural resources to make our own faces. It has been a fun-filled week of exploring, creating and learning!⚽️🧡

💚Day Room💚

Last week, our theme was Autumn, and the children enjoyed a range of exciting activities linked to the changing season. We explored the woods, collecting leaves, sticks and other natural resources, while developing our understanding of the world and noticing the changes happening in the trees and surrounding environment. The children enjoyed talking about what they could see, sharing their ideas and building their vocabulary around autumn. We also explored our autumn-themed tuff trays, which encouraged imaginative play, communication and opportunities to learn about the new season through hands-on experiences!🪾🍁

During Forest School, the children used natural resources to create their own portrait pictures, supporting their creativity, fine motor skills and ability to express themselves. Our role-play area was transformed into a café, where the children enjoyed taking on different roles, developing their communication and language skills, building confidence and learning to cooperate and share with their friends. It was a wonderful week full of exploration, creativity, imagination and learning through play!🪵💚

💛Dawn Room💛

What a lovely week we’ve had in Baby Room! We made the most of some of the last summer sunshine with some exciting outings, giving the babies plenty of opportunities to explore the world around them and enjoy being outdoors. ☀️

Back in the room, we had lots of fun exploring different textures in our tuff trays. The babies enjoyed touching, squishing, scooping and investigating a variety of materials, supporting their sensory development and encouraging curiosity. 👐✨

We finished our week back at Babyzone, where the babies had lots of fun exploring, playing and spending time together.
It’s been a busy week full of sunshine, sensory experiences, exploration and lots of smiles! 💛

🧡Dusk Room - Beach Trip🧡

On Thursday we enjoyed a very exciting visit to the beach! We travelled together on the bus, which was an especially exciting experience for some of the children as it was their very first time travelling on a bus. When we arrived, we walked down to the beach and enjoyed exploring the sand, building sandcastles, searching for shells and listening to all the different sounds of the seaside. After all that exploring, we headed to Brenda’s Chip shop, where we enjoyed some yummy chips together as a special treat before catching the bus back to nursery. It was a fantastic day full of fun, adventure and lots of new experiences!🚌🏖️🐚🐟

🧡Dusk Room🧡

This week, we have been learning all about the beach and under the sea!🏖️

We have enjoyed painting, gluing and sticking to create our own wonderful under-the-sea pictures. We also used playdough and pasta to create our very own coral reefs and had lots of fun exploring blue water with the sea animals!🪼🪸

We have also been busy baking delicious flapjacks, developing our counting and measuring skills as we mixed, poured and counted how many cups of each ingredient we needed. We had lots of fun during our weekly football session and finished the week with an exciting Forest School session, where we loved working together to build our own dens!⚽️👩🏼‍🍳

💚Day Room💚

Last week, we had lots of fun exploring our beach theme! The children enjoyed getting hands-on with our sensory beach tuff trays, exploring different textures and materials. We also created some lovely sandy handprint crafts and had lots of fun using our imaginations in our ice cream parlour role-play area!🏖️

We completed our Zog Comondeo joes missions, which encouraged the children to explore positively and develop their confidence through a range of fun activities!🥰

During Forest School, the children worked together to build dens using many different natural materials, encouraging teamwork, creativity and problem-solving. To finish off a wonderful week, we enjoyed some baking and made delicious biscuits together!🍃

5 spaces left for our Christmas Crèche🤍🎅🏼

Our first year offering our Christmas Crèche, something that we hope will become a yearly tradition! As parents ourselves we know how hard it is to find the time to do everything in the lead up to Christmas, so we are hoping our special Christmas Crèche event will help take some of the strain off our wonderful families!

This one off session is for children aged 2 years old+ and is £20 for 9am -1pm, including a festive lunch. Spaces are limited and payment will be taken in advance 🥰
