Today 3 year 10 boys travelled to twickenham to compete in the delta Twickenham takeover tournament. What a day and what a brilliant experience for the lads, memories to last a lifetime.

In the final Josh came into his own scoring 3 magnificent tries including the try in the last seconds of the game to win it for his side.

As well as visiting the home of England Rugby and playing on the pitch, the students had a talk from England Rugby World Cup winner Jason Robinson. They also took part in a training session on the pitch.

Huge thanks, to John Whitgift Academy for their massive help throughout the day and allowing us to share the bus. And a massive thank you to for organising such a fantastic event.

WHAT A WAY TO START!⚽️👏

Our Year 7/8 girls secured a fantastic victory in their first ever game tonight after a brilliant battle against a strong William Farr side!

The game finished 3-3 after a fantastic contest, meaning it went all the way to penalties… and the girls held their nerve to come out victorious! 🙌

Belle was on fire, scoring all three goals including an incredible strike from her own half!🚀

All the hard work the girls have put in during training with Miss Forero really paid off, with the whole team putting in an incredibly impressive performance against a very good side.

Every single player gave everything and made Mr Dickinson and Mr Hipwell extremely proud.💪

⭐ Player of the Match – Lily
An outstanding performance in defence. Calm, composed and worked tirelessly throughout! 👏

⭐ Player of the Match: Ralph, who grabbed a fantastic hat-trick alongside putting in a tireless running performance from start to finish.

Penalty heartbreak 😩
Today we travelled to Tollbar and produced a fantastic performance from start to finish.
We went 1–0 down early on but showed great character to bounce back, with Trav firing home a wonderful strike to level the game.
We battled hard throughout and couldn’t fault the effort, attitude and commitment from the whole squad. The game went right down to the wire, with the scores still level after five penalties each. Unfortunately, we were beaten on sudden death. 💔
We now drop into the Plate semi-final, but there are plenty of positives to take from today’s performance. Hopefully we can build on this and go on to lift some silverware this year! 🏆

Year 8 are back!! We traveled to Somercotes in the first round of the National Cup. We went 1-0 up through an unbelievable free kick from Travis. After that we slowed and went into HT still 1-0. Second half we was on fire and goals from Ralph x2, Kevins, Chip and Belle meant the game finished 6-0.

POTM- Peyton who completely changed the game when she came on, she was unplayable 🔥 🙌

It’s good to be back 🙌. Year 11 had the first fixture of the year as we hosted Beacon in the first round of the Grimsby Cup. It was a scrappy game with the boys eventually winning 4-2 and booking their place in the quarter final.

Goals from Harv x2, Drake and Doddsy.
