A little re-introduce myself for the newbies around here 🫶🏼 This is what I do day-to-day, but I’m also a mum to two beautiful daughters, a wife to the man with the saltiest sense of humour ever known, a beginner in running looooong distance as I’m training for my first marathon (yep, London babyyyy!) and I went from teaching to fashion in eight weeks (and popped my first baby out right in the middle of that 🤪). I’ve never had maternity leave and I’ve probably had three days off since 2017.

My most viral moments have been sharing with the internet the time I answered the door to the postman with my b**b out, and the time when my youngest daughter said “f**k” younger than the age of two. I love marmite, hate hot drinks, and if I had to pick an act-alike Desperate Housewife I would be Gabrielle Solis (JOKE I’m absolutely Susan Mayer).

The Mama Spring Bump & Baby Fayre is happening tomorrow and I can’t quite believe it’s here already!

This is me sitting in my car before my last 1:1 antenatal + hypnobirthing course... Music blasting out while I do some calm breathing.

I do this before every session, not just to practice what I preach but because it actually works. It calms my body down, lowers my heart rate and gives me that boost I need before I go and meet the couple.

I absolutely love what I do, by my goodness I still get really nervous walking into someone's house!

I'm walking into their space to talk about something incredibly personal. Their birth, their worries, what they're excited about, what they're scared of and all the things they've probably been Googling at 2am.

So I want to walk through that door feeling calm, grounded and ready to give them my full attention.

Turns out hypnobirthing techniques aren't just useful when you're having a baby 🤣
