Our Summer holidays have been such a hit! (Hence the lack of social media interaction - we have been having far too much fun 😍)
So here are a few photos of what we were up to during the first couple of weeks
Potato digging was such a great experience 🥔 How wonderful it has been to grow them in our own garden, dig them up and then feed them to our Highland Cows, Heather and Hamish 🐮

Our resources at Mini Farmers Club are usually sourced from Car boot sales and charity shops!

If you have a child aged 5+ then we have our Junior Farmers Club running on the same days as us!
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.30am ☀️☀️☀️
So bring your ‘Mini Farmers’ aged 0-5 to us, whilst your Junior Farmers get cracking on the farm! 🐐🐷🐰

Our animal encounters have been so much fun this week! The goats certainly kept us entertained 🐐🤪
Our little chicks 🐥 are getting used to being handled and the Mini Farmers were all so gentle 😍
We even met up with our ‘Junior Farmers’ whilst they were busy poo picking 💩

Thursday was such a blast!!
There was such a buzz created by our busy bees 🐝.

Being outdoors and with the animals on the farm 🐖🐔🐐 reaps so many benefits. This is not only true for our little ones but the grown ups too! Come rain or shine, i know that my mental health is definitely boosted by the outdoors☀️☔️ and getting up close and personal with all of our gorgeous animal friends!

We now have a fully stocked changing unit for your little ones that are in nappies or pull ups 👶🏼🧷
We have all been in a situation where we might have forgotten the changing bag or just run out!

Look at our gorgeous sunflowers and vegetables growing in the garden! 🌻🍅🥔🥬
Next week, the children will be digging up the potatoes and the lettuce!

Teddy Bears 🧸 Picnic 11:30-1:30 - 29th July 2023

Bring your favourite teddy, a packed lunch (or pre-order from us) and a blanket to sit on.

No need to book. Normal admission charges apply.

What a fantastic first day of the summer holidays!!
We walked Megan the goat 🐐 and Bob the sheep 🐑, whilst all of the other goats caused absolute mayhem 😂
We had a couple of special guests too 🐥🦜
All on top of playing with all of the exciting resources and activities.

😂 I can honestly say that this could not be more accurate for us at home at the moment.
As much as we love and adore them, toddlers are really hard work!
Understanding their behaviours is vital. Patience and calm is key, but sometimes we run out don’t we?
Mini Farmers Club is not only a space for your children to play and learn, but a safe space for grown ups to ‘let it all out’ if they need to 🗣️No judgements. Having someone to listen really helps 😘

Thursday’s Mini Farmers were the first people to meet the new chicks 🐣🐣🐣
It was very exciting and the children were all so gentle 😍

So exciting!!
Our eggs have hatched and we have lots of beautiful chicks 🐣🐥
The chicks will be able to pop and say hello to the Mini Farmers on Tuesdays during the summer holidays ☀️☀️☀️

This Mini Farmer has attended every week since our very first session 😍. So we didn’t mind when he photobombed our photo 😂

The weather might not be appealing to everyone today ☔️, so our indoor area is all ready for our Mini Farmers to explore. Daisy, Bella and their babies 🐰 cannot wait for a cuddle too.
Outdoors will still be accessible for those little weather warriors!! Who doesn’t love splashing in puddles?! ☔️☔️☔️

Another sold out session! Thursdays are proving to be our most popular session. We welcomed so many new little faces yesterday and it was lovely to hear everyone’s feedback 😍

🐓Happy Wednesday🐓
It was a really relaxed vibe at this morning’s session 🧘‍♂️
It’s so lovely that most of our Mini Farmers now feel so at ease with us, that they are able to come along and get stuck in straight away ❤️. They know what to expect and look forward to their favourite parts of play!

The dinosaurs had such an adventure 🦕🦖- they stomped in the paint and also visited the ocean animals 🐟🐡

We also had a very special tea party, using real pasta 🍝 (this will be cooked at the end of the week and given to the chickens 🐓)

We fee the chickens on the farm, using the seeds from our sensory tray 🐓🐓🐓

We strive to use recycled and ‘real’ resources that children can explore with all of their senses 👀👃🤲

💛Tuesday💛
We welcomed some new little ones and their grown ups, as well as seeing our Tuesday regulars 😍
One of our activities has been a sensory tray, using seeds. We used the seed to feed the chickens on the farm too! 🐔
We tend not to use food in our trays, unless it can be fed to the animals afterwards, with no waste!

Just lately, i’ve been seeing lots of posts about how lonely some mums are feeling 🥹.
We are here for a chat and a cuppa 🫖☕️every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9.30am - 11am.
There is plenty for your little ones to explore, whilst you get chance to relax a little. The reason that we provide FREE sessions for babies under 6 months is so that new parents can join us and meet others. If you’re feeling lonely, please reach out to us 💛
