No two experiences are the same!

We asked recent Intuitive Recovery graduates to reflect on what the course meant to them and the moments that stood out most. 👏🎓

In the heart of Portsmouth, something meaningful is growing 🌱💙

Our B.More group is transforming a local space into a Memorial Garden, a place for reflection, connection, and remembrance for those who have lost loved ones to drink and drugs .

With support from Portsmouth City Council , Men’s Shed, and Together Space, this project brings staff, volunteers, and the community together to create something shaped by remembrance and care.

Look closely, and you’ll spot seed pods from the UK Connect event already taking root. 🔍

Founded in March 2024 by Portsmouth residents with lived experience of recovery, B.More was created to challenge stigma, strengthen support networks, and improve access to recovery across the community.

Today, as a thriving Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO), B.More continues to bridge the gap between people, services, and the wider Portsmouth community.

As promised, here are the finished wood sculpture pieces from last week’s session with Project W and Creatful !🎨

Participants really connected with this activity, and it was wonderful to watch their ideas gradually take shape. Each piece is completely unique and reflects the imagination and individuality of the person who made it.

Creative sessions like this highlight how hands-on creativity can open up new ways for people to express themselves, experiment with ideas and build something they’re proud of👏

Project W is a community-based programme supporting women with diverse and complex needs. Through weekly sessions, the programme provides holistic support including mental health care, substance use support, counselling, domestic abuse and sexual health services, practical cost-of-living advice, childcare, clothing, and meals, all within one safe space.

This Thursday, Project W crafted miniature houses and villages using repurposed wood collected from the local community. What started as reclaimed materials is already taking shape as something thoughtful and detailed. 🏡

Together with Creatful , these hands-on workshops offer more than creative expression. They create space for reflection, skill-building, and shared stories.🎨

The final details come together next week. We’ll share what they’ve created✨

Every Thursday morning, Project W teams up with Creatful to unlock creativity through hands-on art sessions that encourage expression, reflection, and connection.🎨

Recently, they explored imperfect self-portraits, celebrating individuality, embracing flaws, and redefining what it means to truly see yourself.

We were incredibly proud to see Lucy Canning Price, a recent graduate of the Intuitive Thinking Skills Ambassador Programme, share her story with ITV News.👏

Our Ambassador Programme supports people with lived experience to turn their insight into positive action, building skills and confidence to co-design service improvements, inspire others, and strengthen their communities.

Not long ago, Lucy and her son were living in a single hotel room, just a bed and a sink, during a period when, as she described, “waking up was a struggle.” Today, she is moving forward, living temporarily in a flat she can finally call home.

Having completed the Ambassador Programme, Lucy now aspires to support others facing homelessness, combining her lived experience with the skills, confidence, and training she gained through the course. Her goal is simple but powerful: to help people in similar situations realise that change is possible.

Ran in collaboration with North Wales Police, the Denbighshire Homeless Prevention Team, deliver boxing-based wellbeing sessions for women experiencing homelessness. These sessions focus on improving both physical and mental health, while building confidence, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose within a supportive community.

Lucy’s story is a reminder that when lived experience meets the right support, transformation can happen, not just for individuals, but for entire communities.
