Small Steps Toward Sacred Learning — Al-Ma'rifah Foundation Podcast: Episode 2

For many Muslims in Britain, the idea of seeking knowledge can feel overwhelming and is often squeezed between careers, children, finances, and the pace of everyday life. Some may even see it as something reserved for scholars or students overseas, not ordinary people trying to get by.

In this clear and practical conversation, Shaykh Rehan Salim dismantles that assumption. He explains what Islam actually requires from every Muslim, what “being a student of knowledge” really looks like today, and how learning can be built steadily into real life without extremes or burnout.
