โšฝ๐ŸŽค 60 YEARS OF DREAMING ๐ŸŽคโšฝ

We're so excited to finally share something we've been working incredibly hard on!

Over the past few weeks, members of the Shaw Centre have written and recorded our very own England World Cup anthem, "60 Years of Dreaming" celebrating 60 years since England's historic World Cup victory in 1966.

Today, we've also been filming scenes for a music video to accompany the song. The video is still a work in progress, but we couldn't wait any longer to let you hear what we've created!

This project has been led by the talents, creativity and determination of our members. They have poured their hearts into every lyric, every note and every performance, and they are incredibly proud and excited for people to hear it.

As we celebrate Learning Disability Week, we want this song to send an important message:

Do you see us?
Do you hear us?

We are musicians.
We are singers.
We are songwriters.
We are creative.
We are talented.
We are brilliant.

Massive thank you to Jakki Grace Hattie for sharing her musical talents and helping us hit those notes!

Please take a few minutes to listen, share, comment and tell us what you think. Every share helps us reach more people and helps show what people with learning disabilities can achieve when given opportunities to shine.

Let's see if we can make this go viral and make the Shaw Centre famous! ๐ŸŒŸ
