The Shaw Centre was founded approx. 30 years ago and was until July 2011 known as Landridge House. The Shaw Centre is a charity and runs a small day services, and a drop in. The day services provides day care for up to 24 Adults with Learning Disabilities a day(18 – 65 yrs) We are based at Redbank House Cheetham and open Monday to Friday. Jordan received a lovely present and surprise from John and Debbie at the Shiredale on Thursday.

Jordan doesn’t just attend events at the Shiredale , she's become a regular customer and a much-loved part of the community. It’s a fantastic, inclusive pub where Jordan can truly be herself, enjoy good company, have a lovely glass of wine, and of course, have a sing and a dance!

Over the past couple of years, Jordan has become a friend of the Shiredale and one of their favourite customers. It’s wonderful to see how welcomed and valued she is there, and how much she enjoys being part of such a friendly and inclusive community.

Laura certainly enjoyed the pamper sessions at Manchester People First. She's had a brilliant week- shopping, pub, party, MPF. Its been a busy week! 🤍
