A fantastic day at TEMA with Years 7, 8 & 9! 🎶

Inspiring gospel choir taster sessions had everyone on their feet, led brilliantly by Tosin Akindele and accompanied by David Onac.

We are proud to be working in partnership with RNCM - Royal Northern College of Music to widen participation and support pathways into the music industry.

We loved the energy and can’t wait to see the Gospel Choir grow after Easter- join us at East Music Centre, 4–5pm! 🙌

☘️🎶 Today was a brilliant start to the Irish Music Festival, bringing together school children across Manchester to celebrate the city's rich musical heritage and the wonderful contributions of the Irish community.

As we approach St Patrick's Day, we've enjoyed sharing lots of stories, learning about the history of Ireland, and enjoying some spectacular music! Thank you to all the schools, musicians and organisers who helped us put on a show to remember!

A special thanks to John Cummins TD, Minister of State at the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, and Cillian O'Kelly, Consulate General of Ireland in Manchester, for taking the time to join us and support this special event.

We're delighted to see the whole community come together to celebrate Irish music, history, tradition and culture 🌟

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the amazingly talented Yemi Bolatiwa from to the North Steelpan Music Centre Co-op Academy North Manchester ! 🎶

Our senior steelpan ensemble had an incredible session exploring singing, improvisation, and creative experimentation through their instruments.

Thank you to The Untold Orchestra for making this happen. We’re already looking forward to having Yemi back for more inspiring workshops in the future!

We had the incredible opportunity to tour the Co-op Live, a hive of activity as it gears up for the BRIT Awards!

Taking 10 young people from The East Manchester Academy behind the scenes was more than we ever could have imagined! The experience opened eyes, sparked curiosity, and even revealed new passions for careers in an industry some of our young people never knew existed.

A huge thanks to Brighter Sound for opening the doors to this opportunity, and for the amazing BPI team and their time, generosity, and willingness to speak with the young people. It was unlike anything they had ever experienced!

💛 The One Education Music Team is proud to work with so many wonderful families and we love hearing their feedback!

One parent recently told us just how much the samba and singing groups mean to their child, helping them grow in confidence, make friends from different schools, and have fun making music together.

"I would like to thank all the teachers, administrators, and the organisation for providing such a beneficial programme for young children to participate in."

We love working closely with the Royal Northern College of Music and seeing their alumni out there doing amazing things – and even better, passing those skills on to the next generation of musicians!

Josephine teaches at Parrs Wood, leads our Wind Band Level 2 at South Music Centre which runs on Saturdays during term time, 9-1pm at Chorlton High School. She’s still got a couple of 1:1 tuition slots (flute / saxophone/ clarinet) available on Saturdays!
