There's no age limit when it comes to starting a business. In fact, many successful entrepreneurs started their journeys at a very young age. This post discusses a unique business idea: teaching kids about business. Our goal is to guide them through the process of entrepreneurship and help them start their own business. By doing so, we aim to give kids the tools they need to carve out their own futures.

The Power of Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship isn't just about making money. It's about developing skills that are crucial in the real world, such as problem-solving, leadership, and resilience. When kids learn about entrepreneurship, they're not just learning how to run a business. They're learning how to think creatively, take calculated risks, and bounce back from failure. These skills can serve them in all aspects of their lives, whether they decide to start a business or not.

How We Plan to Teach Kids About Business

We believe in a hands-on approach to learning. That's why our program aims to guide kids through the process of starting their own business. We'll cover topics such as market research, business plan creation, and financial management. But we won't stop there. We'll also guide them through the process of launching their business, from finding their customers to marketing their products or services.

Why This Matters

By teaching kids about entrepreneurship, we're not just helping them start a business. We're helping them build a future. We're giving them the tools they need to be successful in whatever path they choose to take. And most importantly, we're teaching them that their age doesn't define their potential. With the right guidance and resources, they too can make a difference in the world.

The Future of Entrepreneurship

With more and more young people getting interested in entrepreneurship, the future of business is looking bright. And we're excited to be a part of that future. By teaching kids about business, we're helping to foster the next generation of innovators, leaders, and changemakers. And who knows? The next big business idea might just come from one of our students.

Conclusion

Entrepreneurship is a powerful tool that can help kids shape their own futures. By teaching them about business, we're giving them the opportunity to develop key skills, explore their interests, and make a mark in the world. So let's continue to empower our kids through entrepreneurship, because the future of business is in their hands.

Why me? Why this? Some of you understandably want to know who I am and why I believe I am the right person to teach your children how to set up a business.

I understand personally how differently children learn, I have 3 children, one in college, one starting high school next year and a highschooler who is home educated.

coming from a dyspraxic mother, it was ineveitable that at least one of my children would suffer. Both my boys have dyspraxia and ADHD of differing levels, but whilst my daughter shows some signs, she seems to have come out largely unscathed.

All 3 of my children learn differently. My eldest is a very practical learner, he has to find his own way and is somewhat of a wordsmith. My homeschooled son is a math whizz and thrives on information and structure., whilst my daughter however; hates school and has hated learning from the minute she left pre-school and had to actually sit down and do some work, she learns best when she's in charge of the subject and when it is fun, exciting and especially crafty. She loves to write creatively.

My time spent working as an LSA was in part 1:1 with a child who had SEN, though much of the work involved working with groups of children both with and without SEN. I understand the barriers to learning, I understand some children need to be challenged and pushed ahead, I understand the frustrations of not being able to do something you (or others) believe you should be able to do, but most importantly I understand that when engaged and having fun, you learn more than you will ever learn when pushed for something which you do not enjoy. Learning should be fun.
