Known as a traditional British seaside town, we are proud to say that Great Yarmouth has lots to offer and great-value property. It is renowned for its sandy beaches and stunning seafront lovingly nicknamed the ‘Golden Mile’, as well as having a lovely town centre and boasting one of the oldest and largest marketplaces in England.

Our academy is proud to be at the heart of the Cobholm community, and we can trace our roots back for more than 100 years.

We encourage a strong partnership between parents and our school. Parents, grandparents and other family members play an important role in fundraising and shaping academy activities, with regular events that help us share our passion for learning with the whole community. We thank you all.

Have you heard about the Cobholm Primary Passport? 🚍

Launched in response to post-pandemic life, this initiative aims to provide our pupils with opportunities outside of the classroom, giving them the chance to experience a wide range of activities in our local area and beyond.

Since launching our passport we have already held more trips than ever for all year groups, ranging from a visit to Hundred River Farm through to a Norwich Day Trip followed by sleepover at the school.

We had a fantastic time at the Panto at St. George's Theatre Great Yarmouth …….and we were able to offer this at no cost because of the incredible fundraising of The Friends of Cobholm Primary. At number 8 in Freshly Greated's advent calendar is a highlight of the year from Miss S at Cobholm Primary! She chose the Jubilee celebration day hosted by Cobholm Community Centre & Cobholm Primary Academy, packed with stilt walkers, live music, high tea, Pac Man & more!

We've also just realised we've given away Miss S's 1st name... Uh oh! The facade is forever ruined!

Thank you so much to everyone that joined our Christmas event! Thank you to our amazing Friends of Cobholm for their continued support and hard work, thank you to DIAL Great Yarmouth, Norfolk County Council Chances and Adult Learning Norfolk for visiting us and having a chat! One of our Year 4 pupils did Cobholm proud on Saturday evening taking part in a Boxing showcase! Well done! 🥊⭐️

White Ribbon Day and the 16 days of action are about raising awareness of domestic abuse and all forms of violence against women and girls. Please share and continue to look out for family members and friends.

Super proud of our Dodgeball team today. They were a real credit to the school and played with integrity and a real sense of good sportsmanship.
2nd place silver medals for our year 5 team, a 3rd place finish for the year 6 team and a special y5 girls player of the tournament award for Darcy. A huge thanks you to Miss Anguish and Miss Bower for all the hard work in training.

We love supporting Children in Need! We are all wearing our favourite colour today and on Monday we had a very special visitor in assembly 😊
Lavender class also spoke to the whole school about Anti Bullying Week and they did a great job in their odd socks 🧦

The Pupil Leadership team had a great trip to Pathways Care Farm in Lowestoft today to meet some animals and get some inspiration for our very own garden. Thanks so much to Geoff and his dog Woody for showing us round! Despite the rain we had the best time! ☔️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
