Foundations Homebased Childcare is initiating a new approach to childcare options. This approach is designed to offer a nursery experience with fully qualified and experienced staff within the comfort and reassuring environment of a home. This enables children to build positive, meaningful relationships through familiar and consistent staffing who will support the opportunity to engage in social i

nteraction with both adults and children and participate in carefully planned learning opportunities which are underpinned by the Early Years Foundation Stage and relate to the individual development needs of each child. Through providing this type of childcare we will endeavour to meet our aim of supporting the development of strong, independent and resilient children who enjoy learning through exploration, investigation and child initiated play. Our friendly staff have over 50 years, experience between them working with early years, have management experience and have teaching and assessment qualifications. We offer:-
• Flexible places including emergency care and infrequent sessions.
• Early mornings and late evening places are available.
• Free places for 2, 3 and 4 year old children.

We had a quick pit stop at the park for some monkeying around 🐒 had a swinging time!!

Back to HQ for some yummy lunch and a little crafting session to make our own flags 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 to wave at the football ⚽️ (if we make it that is, we're very tired 💤 )

It was all systems GOAL today at Foundations! ⚽️ 🥅 we've celebrated football style! Starting with a quick trips to the shops for supplies, and onto the park for kick about practice (not sure we'll make the team yet but we're making progress)

We made England themed biscuit snacks and popped a few balls into the back of the net!!

🎄✨ Merry Christmas to all our wonderful families! ✨🎄

As the year comes to a close, we’ve been looking back on the last term and all the special moments we’ve shared together. From messy play adventures and festive parties, to delivering food hampers to local pensioners and enjoying a magical breakfast with Santa – it’s been a term full of smiles, laughter and memories we’ll treasure.

Thank you to all our amazing parents and carers for your continued support, kindness and the lovely Christmas gifts and cards with beautiful messages in – they are truly appreciated. Most of all, thank you for trusting us to care for your little ones; it really is a privilege.

We can’t wait for the new year and everything it will bring – more fun, more learning, more messy play and lots more special moments together!
