A huge congratulations to our wonderful pupil Daniel, aged 11, who has been honoured with the West Midlands Lieutenancy Young Active Citizen Award for his outstanding fundraising in support of The Glebe Centre in Walsall! 👏💛

For four years Daniel has given up his own time to help vulnerable people in his community, and we couldn't be prouder of the kindness, dedication and community spirit he's shown. He truly is a changemaker today, not just tomorrow.

Well done, Daniel — you make Landywood proud! 🙌💙

🎉 What an incredible year it’s been at Landywood Primary School! 💙

As we come to the end of another fantastic school year, we’d like to say a huge thank you to our amazing pupils, dedicated staff, and wonderful families for making it so special.

This year has been filled with memorable achievements, exciting opportunities, and countless moments of learning, laughter, and growth. We are especially proud that our recent Ofsted inspection recognised the caring, nurturing, and ambitious school community we strive to be every day.

None of this would be possible without the continued support of our families. Your encouragement, partnership, and trust enable us to provide the enriching experiences and opportunities that make Landywood such a special place to learn and grow.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We wish everyone a safe, happy, and restful summer, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another exciting year ahead!

☀️ What a fantastic way to end the school year! ☀️

Today has been filled with smiles, laughter and lots of fun as our children enjoyed an amazing end-of-year celebration with inflatables, sports activities and a visit from the ice cream van! 🍦🏃‍♀️🎉

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff for making today so special and to our families for your continued support throughout the year.

We wish all of our children and families a happy, relaxing and well-deserved summer break. We hope you make lots of wonderful memories, stay safe and enjoy every moment. We can’t wait to welcome you back in September! 🌞💙

As many of you will already know, Miss Ramsell is stepping down from full-time teaching to pursue her passion for photography. We're delighted that she'll still be a familiar face around school, continuing to support us by covering certain classes from time to time. We'd love to share the details of her business, Olivia Anne Photography UK, in case any of our families would like to book her for a special occasion of their own.

Miss Ramsell specialises in weddings and engagements, alongside family shoots and the occasional celebration such as birthdays. She works outdoors rather than in a studio, aiming for a natural, documentary style that captures genuine moments as they happen.

🚜 Year 2's Farm Residential 🚜

What an incredible week it was! Our Year 2 children spent their time at making memories that will last a lifetime. 🌟
🐐 Feeding the animals
🎪 Playing in the barn
🌊 Epic water fights (perfect for the sunshine!)
🐸 Pond dipping
🍕 Homemade pizza for dinner
🔥 Judging the teachers' BBQ skills!
There was lots of fun, laughter and a few tired heads by bedtime! 😴

A huge well done to all our Year 2 children for representing our school so brilliantly. We're so proud of you all! 💙

What a brilliant day celebrating our great attendance - exploring Birmingham on our way to Peter's Bookstore 📖. So many books to choose from for our class and school library and we even got a free ice cream for our way home 🍦
