A sneaky side effect of starting my own business has crept right up on me and it is proving to be one of the best parts.

Everyday, I tell myself I can definitely do this, it is all going to work out. Everyday, this is reflected right back at me in the support of the people I love, work with, train with, wave at and enthusiastic strangers I chat to on the street.

Every 'How's it going?', every like, every share, every 'I told my friend about it!' brings me so much joy and helps my business grow.

I am so lucky. You are the best, thank you for being here!

We are hitting the road, pounding the pavements and potentially getting slightly damp this week!

I am so pleased to be taking regular bookings for September, but I still have a few slots to fill. I have decided to give marketing the old fashioned way a go, to help spread the word!

I chose instantprint | Online Printer as I felt they were a greener choice. They use FSC®-certified paper from responsibly managed forests and are carbon neutral! This is important to me, I want to responsibly spread the word about my little business.

If the leaflet isn't useful to you, can you pass it on to someone who would find it useful? And when it is all done with, please pop it in the recycling!

In my little learning den, we explore the subjects that each child finds tricky, in a safe environment that inspires and engages each person as an individual.

We learn together, at their own pace, in a way that gives each child time to follow their curiosity and grow their confidence.

The boss (me) was a little bit panicky about the whole staff (also me) taking some of the day off, but she was quickly quietened by fun in the sun with her pals and this AMAZING bake from as precious as bakery at The North Devon Show / Agricultural Show in August in North Devon .

Do not fear though, on my return to The Discovery Den, Devon HQ it was all go with:

-Final drafts of Welcome Packs and Starter Questionnaires
-Yet another building supplies order
-Dates confirmed for our super electrician and plumber to sort the lights and heating
-Admin, admin, admin
