Our children have had a fantastic first week at Getaway Lions, making the camp roar with excitement as they enjoyed a wonderful mix of creative crafts, delicious baking and plenty of fun. The week ended with everyone's favourite, 💦 Splash Friday 💦, where there were lots of smiles, laughter and opportunities to cool off in the sunshine.

As our Year 6 pupils close one chapter and begin another, we couldn't be prouder of the remarkable young people they have become.

🏅 Gateway Senior Sports Day ☀️

Our Year 3 to Year 6 pupils shone brightly at this year's Senior Sports Day at Jarman Park, showing fantastic determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

With plenty of cheering from parents, staff and classmates, every child gave their all and represented their house with pride. 🎉

A highlight of the day was the ever popular Parents' Race, where Mr Coke, competing as both Headteacher and Gateway parent, showed everyone how it's done! 👏🏆

A huge well done to all our pupils and a special thank you to our Sports Team for organising another fantastic event for the Gateway community. 🌟

Getaway Lions' holiday camp had a fantastic Pizza Making Day, filled with sunshine, smiles and plenty of hands-on fun. 🍕☀️

The children got creative with a variety of toppings and even decorated their own pizza boxes, taking real pride in their creations. Working together, they built confidence, teamwork and new cooking skills along the way.

And of course, the best part… dinner is sorted! 😄

Mr Lafleur who plays for Chesham United Football Club would like to recognise Jonah and Immy for their fantastic support throughout this season. Their commitment in attending and cheering on at his matches has not gone unnoticed. As a token of his appreciation, Mr Lafleur has kindly gifted them his match-worn shirt from this season.

He would also like to extend his thanks to all students who have come along to support his games, and he looks forward to seeing even more familiar faces in the stands next season.
