After reading the story Christopher Nibble, we went on a dandelion hunt on the way to forest school. We spotted some lovely yellow flowers. In forest school we took a closer look at the whole flower discovering the different parts of the plants. Then this afternoon the children made some Dandelion playdough which was lovely to play with.

Today in forest school one of the children made a bug hotel and fairy garden. What a lovely place for our forest fairies...

This week in forest school we have been learning about birds for the Big Garden Bird Watch. We have made bird feeders and looked for birds around the school. Today we have made some bird hide outs. The children worked really hard collecting and gathering sticks, moss and leaves to put together 2 hides for ground birds and a wreath hide for the bush. We were then lucky to see a robin feeding from a feeder we put up.
