Deputy Nursery Manager!
Are you a passionate and experienced early years professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to support the leadership and day-to-day running of our friendly and nurturing nursery.
Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive and where staff feel supported to deliver excellent early years education and care.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operation of the nursery.
• Lead and inspire the staff team, promoting high standards of care and education.
• Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals.
• Support staff development through mentoring, coaching, and supervision.
• Monitor children's learning and development, ensuring high-quality practice throughout the nursery.
• Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification as a minimum
• Has experience working in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Has a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding requirements.
• Is organised, proactive, and able to lead by example.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is committed to providing outstanding care and learning opportunities for every child.
