The Willows Outdoor Nursery & Pre-school - Great Harwood We are a 60 place family run childcare setting based in Great Harwood, Lancashire.

We operate Term Time Only and our focus is on delivering childcare and education primarily outdoors in our large secure garden.

The Autumn term is fast approaching and we have given the nursery a refresh whilst we have been closed. We are all set up ready for opening on Tuesday and welcoming the children into nursery.

We would like to wish the children who have left us to start school next week good luck. We hope you enjoy the next stage in your education journey as much as you enjoyed nursery xx

Another year and another graduation complete. We celebrated our class of 2026 with a carnival this year. Thank you to our fabulous team for another great year. Waterslides in the heatwave. This has been the favourite activity of the week! Although it has been extremely hot this week - the fun does not stop. Thank goodness for all the trees we have in the garden creating lots of natural shade so the play can continue😁

A mix of photos from our fantastic Monday in the garden, with lots of sun cream and hydration breaks, fun was had by all and when we're having fun we're learning! As the weather is looking bright all week please ensure we have sun cream and sun hats! We'll be celebrating insect week throughout the nursery! ☀️
