🌟 A huge congratulations to all of our Friday Assembly award winners! 🌟

It was wonderful to celebrate so many of our children for their achievements, including Star Pupil, living out our School and Gospel Value of Love, showing excellent Effort and Application, and producing their very best Handwriting.

A special congratulations goes to our September ALWAYS pupils, whose commitment and positive attitudes have truly shone throughout the month. We were also delighted to recognise the winners of our Class Attendance, Class Punctuality and Golden Broom awards. Your dedication, teamwork and pride in our school are fantastic examples to others.

We are always incredibly proud to hear about the amazing talents, hobbies and achievements our children enjoy outside of school. Thank you to everyone who brought in medals, certificates, trophies and stories to share with us this week. We love celebrating your successes both in and out of school, so please keep bringing them in!

Well done, everyone. We are so proud of you all! 👏⭐🏆

Early this week we were very pleased to welcome Gerrie from the Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline to St. Wulstan’s. Gerrie told us about the vital work they do supporting children and families in Ukraine, and the ways our school community can help.

In the coming weeks we’ll be launching a school campaign to support the charity. One of their most-needed items is good quality LEGO and arts and crafts materials — perfect for helping children play, learn and create. If you have any unwanted sets, bricks, craft kits, paints, brushes, glue or paper in good condition, please send them into school with your child or drop them at the office.

Thank you for supporting our children to help others.

A REMINDER - TOMORROW!

We will be hosting our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning TOMORROW from 9:00am to 10:30am. Annual coffee mornings across the country have been highly effective in making sure that nobody faces cancer alone. St. Wulstan’s would also like to embrace this wonderful project, welcoming parents and the local community to catch up over a cup of tea, enjoy some scrumptious treats and donate the cost of the cuppa to Macmillan Cancer Research!

By joining Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event, we'll be collecting funds to provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support for people facing cancer, as well as campaigning for better cancer care.

It would be great if you could come along to this wonderful event and even bring along other family and friends to sponsor the cause.

All cake/ cupcakes/ biscuits contributions and monetary donations are highly appreciated and can be donated on the day or prior to the event at the school office or to your child’s class teacher. The funds raised will all be sent to Macmillan.

If you would like your child to have a biscuit/cake, we are asking for a donation of 50p or more which your child can give to their class teacher on the day.

📚🚌 We were delighted to welcome the Book Bus to school for a fantastic library book swap!

A wonderful opportunity for our children to discover new stories, share their favourite books and get excited about reading. 📖✨

Happy reading! 💛

On Monday we celebrated the building of St. Wulstan’s, which first opened on 18th May 1912. Over a century later and our little primary school is still going strong thanks to the dedication of pupils, families, staff and our parish community. A huge thank you to everyone who makes our school such a warm, caring place. Wishing all our families a peaceful, fun-filled half term holiday — see you soon!
