We are proud to offer our Before and After School Wraparound Club, providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children outside of the school day.

Our club has become a trusted part of the school community, where children can relax, socialise, and take part in a variety of enriching activities. We offer:

Cooking sessions, helping children build confidence and learn practical skills
LEGO workshops that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork
Arts and crafts for imaginative expression and hands-on fun
Sports activities to keep children active and promote teamwork
Homework support available on request, ensuring children can complete tasks with guidance when needed
Our experienced and caring staff are dedicated to creating a positive atmosphere where every child feels welcomed and supported.

Whether you need reliable childcare before school, after school, or both, our wraparound club is here to help while giving your child a fun and rewarding experience.

On Monday we celebrated the building of St. Wulstan’s, which first opened on 18th May 1912. Over a century later and our little primary school is still going strong thanks to the dedication of pupils, families, staff and our parish community. What a brilliant finish to Walk to School Week! On Friday we celebrated with a Bling Up Your Shoes day, and the creativity was amazing. Pupils decorated trainers and school shoes with colourful laces, sparkly stickers and handmade badges to show their support for healthy, active journeys to school 👟 👞⭐️

A huge thank you from all of us at St. Wulstan's for taking part in our Get Caught Praying competition! We loved seeing pupils, staff and families get imaginative — praying in places as varied as the Vatican, discos, football grounds, with scarecrows and even praying with pets. We’re so proud of our caring pupils at St. Wulstan’s. Members of our Pupil Parliament, Junior Leadership Team and Gift & Caritas teams hosted volunteers and residents of Great Harwood at Mercer Hall for a warm afternoon tea. They shared bingo, entertainment and delicious treats as part of a focused action plan to say “thank you” and to show people they care. This week we celebrated a wonderful group of pupils — from our shining star pupils, to those recognised for honesty, our keen mathematicians, pupils showing great stewardship and listening, and our Always pupils for May. We are so proud of every one of you for modelling our school values and working hard every day.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all pupils, parents and staff who supported St. Wulstan’s Teddy Trade. Your generosity meant many teddies found loving new homes with our school community, and the remaining donations will be put to good use with Young Carers this week. We are delighted to congratulate this week’s Friday award winners at St. Wulstan's RC Primary School. Listening, maths, honesty and our Star Pupil awards went to pupils who have shown excellent effort and positive attitudes.

Special thanks to those who shared their outside interests this week — it’s wonderful to see pupils bringing their passions into school life.
