Hello everyone! Sensei Peter, Clare and Luke are going to be at the Sudbury in Show at Sudbury Arts Centre (church opposite Market Hill) If you would like to say hello and find out more about the disciplines that we and our students enjoy, give the place a visit between 9:50 and 3:30 this Saturday!

See you there!!!!!

This Saturday we welcome back Sudbury on Show to Sudbury Arts Centre and Sudbury Town Hall, as an array of charitable and not-for-profit local organisations showcase what they do and how you can get involved.

Whether you're looking to learn a new skill, meet new people or just help out in the community, pop along and see what's on offer.

Mayor, Andy Welsh, opens the day at 9:50am with a speech at Sudbury Arts Centre, with the event officially open from 10am-3pm.

There will also be free children's arts and crafts workshops in the Town Hall.

We focused to training towards our Kenbu examinations last night.

As Kenbu is performed on stage to audiences, stage presence and positioning is essential!

If you can see the cones, they help our junior students keep in the centre of the stage and make sure they are completing their katas pointing in the right directions.

We also had time to practice Iaido too!

A few pictures from our latest training session. Our students are getting grips of the new techniques they are grading in next year!

The whole class also went through the Kenbu kata called Kinshu-Jo - to both inspire our new students as to what they can do, and because the whole class doing it together looks and feels pretty cool!

Would you like to know more? Please come along and join us or get in touch! 🎌🏯🎌
