We are an 11-18 Secondary school located in Great Cornard near the small market town of Sudbury. For The school has gone from strength to strength.

The latest visit from Ofsted (who inspect schools) was in 2009 and judged us to be a good school. Key messages from the inspectors' main findings included:

The quality of care, guidance and support that is provided for students is outstanding. A typical comment from a student demonstrates the excellent relationships and the very inclusive ethos in school. The student said, "My class is like a fam

On Day 5 and 6 of our trip to Thailand, the students continued their work teaching English at the local primary school, followed by a visit to the town night market where they tried some local delicacies such as chicken feet and grubs.

The following day we visited Wat Phra Chom Mon temple after teaching. The next day after teaching at the local primary school, we traveled to Chaing Mai, there was lots of singing along the way. We went for a meal at a local restaurant before exploring Chaing Mai at night. The students finished off the day with a visit to KFC!

More updates from Thailand: It was the first day for our students in their primary school work place, and today was all about teaching the children English introduction phrases. The TGS students made us so proud with their confidence and natural kindness; they didn't let the language barrier get in the way and the Thai students loved their Lessons.

The afternoon was spent on a litter pick around the local community.

Day 3 of our trip to Thailand, and the work begins in ernest. The morning was spent lesson planning for teaching some English to the local primary school children, followed by an afternoon of planting some Marian Plum and Cassia trees (the native tree of Thailand!)
