Not only have my lovely in-laws been on hand to look after our little one when I have been too unwell but my father-in-law is also taking on the challenge of cycling 300 miles this summer for Cancer Research! If you can make even the smallest donation, I’m sure it will help spur him on in between babysitting duties!

Thank you for your patience while I receive my treatment, it is going well and I can’t wait to get back to sessions as soon as I can!

This is not something I ever thought I would have to say or post about. It feels very hard to write about it in such a public way but I feel strongly it’s important to raise awareness.

Unbelievably on 8th March I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the grand old age of 31. I was just finishing my maternity leave and was looking forward to getting back to the woods for some sessions, with lots of enquiries rolling in. It feels really unfair, it should not be happening to me but it is and I want to raise awareness and say CHECK YOUR BREASTS. Women and men of all ages. Do it once a month and get used to what feels normal for you. If anything doesn’t feel normal get it checked, don’t delay. It could make a real difference to your treatment and your life. Coppafeel show you how to check yourself properly and even send monthly reminders. I am very lucky that I caught it early but I still have a hell of a lot of treatment ahead of me to get rid of it so I am taking time to rest and get better. When I can get back to the woods I will and I will keep you updated as to when sessions can start again. In the meantime I will be taking solace in nature and being thankful for the wonderful people in my life supporting me 💚💙
