The Meeting Place Language Hub

The Meeting Place Language Hub As one of the activities of The Meeting Place, the Language Hub is run by a friendly team of TESOL trained teachers and assistants. So come and join us!

We teach students whose first language is not English from elementary right through to upper intermediate level. We provide relaxed fun SCHOOL TERM TIME classes VIA ZOOM for intermediate students and IN PERSON for beginners/elementary with lots of speaking, as well as some listening, reading and writing for you if English is NOT your first language. Lessons cost £20 per half term (around 6 lesson

s), payable at the start of the term. If you struggle to pay for any reason, please contact us and we can see if we can help.

Our Story

One of the activities of The Meeting Place, a charity to reduce loneliness and isolation in the community, we provide relaxed fun classes at elementary and intermediate to advanced level, with lots of speaking, as well as some listening, reading and writing for you if English is NOT your first language. Classes are on a Tuesday morning 10.00 - 11.30 during term-time at Bookham Baptist church Lessons cost £20 per half term (usually 6 lessons), payable at the start of the term, but it is possible to start any time.
