Peter Pan offers play based sessions every term time morning, Monday to Friday, for children aged two to school age. We are based in a church hall and gardens, close to Bookham High Street. We are also a charity regulated by Ofsted and run by a voluntary parent committee. Our parents tell us time and time again that it is our wonderful staff and family atmosphere that make Peter Pan the lovely pla
ce it is. We have a very experienced staff team led by our Manager, Louise, and Curriculum Manager, Valerie. Many of the trained team are mums whose own children have attended the playschool and live local to Bookham. We have an excellent staff to child ratio - better than the statutory minimum - and a maximum of 26 children at each session. For parents and carers, there are events throughout the year to meet one another and socialise. We also encourage family members to get involved with the playschool by volunteering, the odd bit of fundraising and group activities. Peter Pan is an inclusive setting and we work closely with external agencies to ensure all the children who attend playschool are supported to make the right level of progress and development for them.
