Good luck to Shannon as she takes on the role of Dorothea in the 'Wizard of Oz.' Fingers crossed for further success of our loyal pupils, as theatre really gets going again in 2023!

'Why can't I play Annie?' We hear this so often .. so whether you are a girl, boy or fluid, we are here to offer a super interesting time in lessons. You can raise your confidence, learn how to promote your charm, strength and capability at an audition, and develop as an individual artiste. You can learn all about the stories of theatre past, what to choose when picking a song, how to tell a story that makes you stand out from the chorus, and most importantly, prepare for the rich and lovely sounds that you will make with your singing in the future weeks. Come on kids! We also start with love and care for those aged six upwards. Lessons are one-to-one or you can share with a friend. Oh! ... we are there to secure a great musical approach for those little pop stars too.

Did you know that we offer coaching for GCSE and A level students, and related college entry examinations? We see drama students, suddenly needing to raise their game to the level of those with a natural ability to sing and our teens use their singing and piano skills towards the D of E awards too! We are based near the Howard of Effingham school, Surrey but can offer this urgent help to anyone willing to travel.

At SSAP, Trevor and Amanda offer tuition in musical theatre, light classical, pop and country styles to develop and enhance singing vocals, for professionals, beginners and children. We also teach the origins of theatre music and coach dialogue for exams and auditions. We can assist in the best subject matter for you and show you how to cope with performance nerves and the unsettled moments that new singers might expect to experience. We specialise in providing confidence and breath control for healthy progress. You can pair your lessons with piano/keyboard tuition and utilise our recording facilities. Backing tracks, dance festival music arrangements, masonic and written notation are also something that we can provide. Exams are with the London College of Music and ABRSM.

Did you know that London College of Music has ADDED a solo drama branch to its syllabi? This is something that we are going to be adding to our availability list. So many drama and public speaking exams rely on a mixed group of children/students and circumstances can make this stressful. Again, the candidate largely has a choice as to what to include and can reference their own theatre trips and interests as part of the course. This offers brilliant expertise for anyone involved in the Arts, whether on stage or off.

Did you know that we offer therapy with or without the benefit of singing? Strictly for those with deep concerns in life or wanting to increase confidence for work, or power in sport, by combining the abilities of hypnotherapy and mindfulness, we can help change occur and finding the inner voice - (that one that we may be afraid of . We have helped people over anxiety where in some cases, really does take away the ability to speak and sing. Ms. Warwick qualified through SCCP at Guildford University, but for those who only need a straight forward approach to a better understanding of their singing, we ONLY use our usual inspiring teaching methods and vocal diagnosis to capture the imagination. Remember - you will be surprised by the lovely voice that should emerge from you!

So we are back - post Covid restrictions and raring to go. We are seeking new young singers with a desire to perfect their solo singing, speech and theatre knowledge. Our courses are so very useful in not just theatrics but also in finding out the history of theatre, the writers and designers but whilst learning, our youngsters greatly improve their reading and language skills!
We always love to share humour and comedy found in the musical scores and libretto, as well as sharing how to deal in emotion during performance.
What we love about the syllabi that we teach is that it allows every individual to develop their own programme of songs and work with the composers that favour their own voice and style, also offer pop, country, jazz and classical styles too.
Why seeking new young performers - well our students are all finishing their level 6, 7 and 8, and moving towards Diploma. Our last two entrants each gaining 92% in their grade 6. We are so proud!
