Every July and August, the same thing happens.

🏖️ Holiday... 🍦 Ice cream... 🍷 BBQs... ❌ Missed a few workouts...

And suddenly we think,
'Well... I may as well start again in September.'

But what if we stopped thinking in terms of all or nothing and replace that mindset with all or something.

Maybe your normal routine isn't possible on holiday...

✔️But you can still go for a walk.
✔️You can still eat at least one decent meal (even at the all inclusive buffet😅)
✔️You can still do one class instead of three.
✔️You can still move your body in other ways🏊🏼‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️🎾

Small habits don't seem important in the moment...

But they're exactly what stop us having to 'start again' every September."

This summer don't aim for perfect, aim for something...because consistency beats perfection every single time.

One of the biggest mindset shifts I've made over the years is this:

Maintenance is a perfectly good goal.
In our 20s and 30s, we often exercise to improve.

To get stronger. To get faster. To change how we look.

But after 40s, the game changes.
Now we're training so we can keep doing the things we love for as long as possible.

To keep up on ski holidays. To enjoy long walks. To play sport. To carry your luggage. To stay independent.

Because the reality is that if we don't actively maintain our strength and mobility, we gradually lose them.

So if your goal right now is simply to keep moving well and feeling strong, you're not aiming too low.

You're training for life.

What's one activity you'd like to still be doing in your 70s?

I am just going to leave it here...
Honestly, that says more than any sales pitch I could write.

We like to push you, but ultimately it's about moving well, building strength gradually and leaving your body feeling better than when you walked in.

If you have been thinking about trying reformer, this might be your sign. Your future self will probably be one of the people saying "I am so glad I came."

You know what to do...booking link in BIO or stories.
