What an amazing leavers ceremony we have had this afternoon. The children were excellent as usual and made us all very proud. Thank you everyone for your kind words, cards and gifts we are truly overwhelmed by your generosity. Have the best Summer and good luck at big School. Lots of love to you all xx

Can all of our parents whose child attended today look in their bags and see if a toy dog has been put in there as a child has lost it. Thank you x

Today is Sports Day 🥎🏑🏃🏽‍♂️it’s going to be a hot one ☀️
Meeting on The Green outside the Cricket Club at 12:30 for our picnic 🧺🥪🍓🍉🍩
There won’t be any shade so please make sure you all have plenty of fluids, suncream, hats, etc.

We have had so much fun today on our beach trip. Some children came with us on a coach and others met us there. We played in the sea, built sand castles, played football on the sand. When the tide came up to high we went up to the grass area and continued our fun, playing races, eating picnics, attempting to fly kites and playing with our friends. We also found lots of ladybirds! Such a super way to enjoy a sunny day. We did have the use of a beach hut which was fabulous.
Thank you to everyone who came and thank you to Edna for the free use of your beach hut, we are very grateful 😃

We are off on our summer trip tomorrow to the beach 🏖️

Wiggle and Words: Speech and Language Groups | University of Essex Boost your child’s speech and language development at our therapy groups, delivered at the Health and Wellbeing Care Hub, University of Essex.

We are aware that some local schools are asking parents to collect their children early if they wish to, whilst we are continuing to keep the children as cool as possible and they are ok, you are welcome to collect siblings early to help with further trips 😊

The children have loved having some chicks visit us this afternoon. They understood that they had to be quiet and gentle with them and were able to touch them. This promoted lots of language and discussions and the children loved it. 😊
