What else is there to say??
Absolutely nothing.
Stefani Graham: From 220 at 20, to The CrossFit Games at 40
On the left:
20 year old me at 220lbs
Eating out most meals with the occasional crash diet and rebound weight gain. Former high school and college athlete but didn’t know how to consistently exercise on my own outside of a team sport.
On the right:
40 year old me competing at the CrossFit Games.
The 20 years in between:
A 100lb swing between 220-120.
Lots of diets. Lots of inconsistent exercise (all cardio). Lots of weight fluctuations between three pregnancies (40-60lbs each time).
Then I discovered strength training and CrossFit, and started training and eating to support some big goals.
What I wish I knew then, and what I’ve learned over those 20 years:
So much!
The main highlights~
How to navigate nutrition and get out of the diet mentality. Food is fuel, and protein is king.
Weightlifting is so important. Being strong is fun, and cardio has its place.
Prioritize sleep and recovery. Period.
Figuring it all out and getting to the level I’m at has been an adventure and something I love paying forward with my own clients.
Working with someone who’s been through it and understands the process and challenges is so valuable.
I’m currently taking on more online and in person coaching clients to teach them what it took me years to figure out. Message me for more info if you need help reaching your goals 🤍
